The international Student Success Coach will help you identify your academic goals and provide resources that support your success. language based communication skills and information on social & cultural activities is also available
2-4 students. You make the call for what you want to do during this session. Bring your work to learn the meaning of certain English words or practice speaking with Shelby and a friend. Includes all the names attending in comments.

Alex was a very good tutor and helped me a lot with the course information. I was able to complete my homework by myself after the tutoring session.

I was ignored for ten minutes because the tutor didn’t know his own schedule and then my meeting was cut short because they double schedule.

The center is welcoming to all students in the SOM, and a great way to make connections with other students in the program! I recommend taking advantage of the tutoring services, attending workshops, and using the center as a general study space. It can get a little noisy at times, so I like to wear my headphones in the center.

I’ve been here three times to get tutored in macro. Each time the tutor seemed to know as much as I did. They often got the answers wrong I realized after I looked at the answer key. They also just didn’t really seem to remeber or understand the concepts. Since macro is a class people struggle with a lot, and this is the only place for help I.t should be improved. It’s also a shame that the person in my group when I did group tutoring had to be in SOM, when this is the only place to go for help.
