75 Hour Audit
E.B. - Feb 22, 2018
My advisor made sure I understand all of the requirements and gave me some tips so that my application for graduation would run smoothly. She told me about faculty advising, which no one had told me about. She was friendly and we'll prepared. My meeting ran smoothly and finished early.
T.C. - Feb 17, 2018
Pretty Straight forward, didn't wasted ant time going anywhere I don't need to. However, I was still able to receive more than I expected. Additionally, I make sure that I understand everything they said before I leave. Do make an appointment before going in.
Nice, warm people
A UTD Student - Feb 17, 2018
Don't email your advisor, meet them in person. They're just much nicer in person. Also, 45 and 75 hour audits are super chill, and great ways to ensure you'll leave this hell hole on time.
Not Terribly Helpful of Friendly
Disappointed - Feb 3, 2018
Call me crazy, but advisors are supposed to be there to help students. My advisor was not friendly or professional and missed courses on my transcript. She didn’t even introduce herself, just started talking in a monotone voice before I even had a seat. Also, UTD prides themselves on their technical origins. Why is the Computer Science program so antiquated? This advising office did everything they could to keep me away in the future. Opposite of your purpose, guys.
Organized and Helpful
Annie P - Jan 25, 2018
I had an appointment with Racine Lewis. I was surprised that she had already reviewed my course history when I came in and was well-prepared to show me exactly which classes I needed to take! My appointment was right on time and I have no complaints with anything related to the advising office.
