A little holiday gift from Genbook to our members – use this holiday calendar to keep ahead of schedule with tips to plan specials in advance.

November and December are the most chaotic times for most service providers because everyone needs an appointment prior to the holidays. As a client, if you’re a regular and value your time, please pre-book, your provider and calendar will thank you.

No one feels a need to pre-book when they’re done with their appointment, and then all of the sudden everyone and their brother needs an appointment, right this second. During the “back to school months” it’s a little easier, because some businesses are usually slower due to school shopping for kids and also students starting college. Don’t get too comfortable with this slow setting, because once the holidays near, it gets hectic.

From a salon perspective – It’s normal that everyone wants to look amazing before reuniting with family for the holidays, but if you really want to ensure a spot in with your stylist, it is imperative to book a couple months ahead of time. Yes, a couple months may sound crazy, but it is the safest bet in the long run. Your stylist will appreciate your time and it will help you to do the same to them.
