June 4, 2018 – Genbook has announced the appointment of Philipp Liver as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, and that he has succeeded Rody Moore, Genbook’s founding CEO.

Joining the company directly from his previous roles as Head of Marketplace and Head of Driver Growth at Uber Australia, Philipp will bring new growth strategies and operational expertise at a pivotal time in Genbook’s development. Prior to Uber, Philipp was responsible for Growth & User Operations at Stripe, as well as held Chief Operating Officer roles at Pet Circle and Groupon-Asia Pac in Australia.

“I am delighted to be handing over the reins of leadership to such an outstanding and dynamic executive like Philipp, ” said outgoing CEO Rody Moore, “and I look forward to supporting him and helping build on Genbook’s current momentum.” Mr. Moore is assisting with the transition and will remain on the company’s Board of Directors.

“While Genbook already provides a robust online appointment booking and small business management platform to tens of thousands of service providers and millions of active consumers in North America, enabling $700 million of annual local commerce,” continued Mr. Moore, “the market is still in the early phases of global adoption and we expect strong growth in the years to come.”

Referring to his appointment, Mr. Liver said, “This is such an exciting time to be leading a company like Genbook, and I see a huge market opportunity ahead of us. We believe a strong web presence combined with online appointment booking will be critical to success for all local services businesses. Genbook has an amazing web and mobile platform, and its integrations with major search and social media properties like Google, Instagram, and Facebook will drive merchant adoption and be an important source of customer bookings and revenue in the future.”
