Customers can receive Appointment Reminders via Text/SMS— in addition to via email — 24, 48 or 72 hours in advance of their appointments with a business.
Businesses can enable Text/SMS Reminders under Settings > Customer Reminders.
Text Reminders contain the business’s name and the date and time of the appointment, in order to give customers the most salient details in the fastest format.
As with email reminders, a text/SMS reminder will only be sent if the appointment is booked 24 hours or more prior to a business’s Reminder Lead Time.
Because Email Reminders contain full appointment details (staff, service, etc.), along with Confirmation Messages and Attachments and a “manage appointment” link, we recommend using Text Reminders along with (not instead of) Email Reminders.
