There is no short and sweet way of removing a canceled appointment from the Inbox (which contains all future and present day Online appointments). Appointments remain in the Inbox until the end of the Appointment Date, even those that have been canceled. However, there is a workaround you can use, if you really don’t want to see those canceled appointments in your Inbox.

You can identify a canceled appointment by the fact that the entire line appears in red italics, and it has an “X” at the end of the row.

Even though appointments can’t be completely deleted from Genbook, you can remove canceled appointments from the Inbox by moving them back in time, to a previous day. First, you’ll need to click on the appointment, then the “Edit Appointment” button.

You’ll first need to restore the appointment by clicking “Restore appointment.”

Once you’ve restored the appointment, click on “View in Calendar.”

You can now move the appointment to a date in the past by clicking on it in your Calendar, then editing the date and saving the appointment on its new date.

That appointment should no longer show up in your Inbox, because it is no longer a future/present day appointment.

Note: Don’t forget to re-cancel the appointment you just restored and moved to an earlier date.
