We’re always trying to make things easier for our users with our new features. The Genbook Manager app (available on both iPhone and Android) now lets you add and store your customers’ credit card details, as well as take full payments or deposits.

On iPhone

When you’re adding or editing an appointment, tap ‘Payment’. You’ll then be shown a page where you can enter your customer’s credit card details.

Fill in their details, as well as the amount you would like to charge, and then tap ‘Done’. If you don’t want to charge them, but still want to keep their credit card details on file, don’t enter an amount to charge, and tap ‘Done’. If you’re only taking a deposit, you’ll be able to charge the balance at a later time.

On Android

When you’re adding or editing an appointment, tap ‘Payments’. You’ll then be shown a page where you can enter your customer’s credit card details.

Fill in their details, as well as the amount you would like to charge, and then tap ‘Capture Card’. If you don’t want to charge them, but still want to keep their credit card details on file, don’t enter an amount to charge, and tap ‘Capture Card’. If you’re only taking a deposit, you’ll be able to charge the balance at a later time.
