Founder & CEO

An entrepreneur for more than nine years, Rody started Genbook from a tiny office in Sydney, Australia soon after pondering the simple question, "Why can't I book appointments online?" Before Genbook, Rody was a seed investor in, and director of, a successful Australian telecommunications startup, Reverse Corp Ltd (ASX:REV). Prior to that Rody was an investment banker for 10 years, most recently as VP, New Products with Salomon Smith Barney in New York.

Rody holds B.Bus (Accountancy) qualifications from the Queensland University of Technology.

Fabio Bastian

Fabio is passionate about technology and bringing technical concepts to commercial reality. With over 20 years in the industry, Fabio has extensive experience in leading software development groups and delivering state-of-the-art solutions to the market. Prior to Genbook, Fabio ran his own consultancy company and held senior positions with ACN Australia, Fujitsu, and S1. He was also involved in two other startups RSVP (sold to Fairfax) and Tenzing (sold to Airbus). As Tenzing's VP of Engineering, Fabio oversaw the development and deployment of the first FAA certified Internet system for commercial aircrafts. Fabio is Genbook's first employee.

Fabio holds a Msc in Computer Science from the University of New England, Australia and a Bachelor's degree from the Catholic University, POA, Brazil.

Frank Thibodeau

VP, Business Development

Frank Thibodeau is an experienced entrepreneur and venture capitalist. Prior to joining Genbook, Frank led Pacific Technology Management, where he provided business and corporate development for technology companies ranging from seed-stage start-ups to large, multinational corporations. From 2000 - 2004 Frank was Director of Venture Investment at ITOCHU Technology, where he financed and guided emerging companies in enterprise hardware, software, telecommunications and networking. He has also served as the chief executive at a variety of biotech and Internet startup companies, including Zona Research and WorldPages (NYSE:WPZ).

In addition, Frank served for five years on the faculty at Harvard University, and received a Ph.D. from Tufts University and a MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Ross Lamont

Ross has been designing software and managing software projects for over 15 years. Prior to joining Genbook he architected intranet support and billing platforms for the American Communications Network's Australian Subsidiary. Prior to that Ross served as architect at eMotion, a Virginia-based manufacturer of high-volume digital asset management systems. Ross's consulting work includes two years as Technical Director at Method Corporation in Sydney. He was also a key player in Documentum's purchase of Workgroup Management Inc, for whom he worked in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Anson Parker

Product Director

Anson has over a decade of Internet industry experience. He began as a graphic designer in New Zealand, working for advertising agencies and print magazines in Auckland and Wellington, before accepting a position as Art Director at Australia-based Optus, where he was responsible for the design of the Company's broadband, ISP, and retail Websites. In 2001 Anson moved on to News Limited, working with their online editorial team to develop content management tools and build market-leading news Websites such as news.com.au, FOX Sports, The Australian, and The Daily Telegraph. At Genbook, Anson developed the design and user interface for Genbook's online appointments application, and now manages all of Genbook's ongoing product development efforts.
