Every session that I’ve had, Don has gone above and beyond to ensure that I feel comfortable and I understand exactly what he’s doing. He’s really funny and is a great conversationalist so while he’s working out the knots, you’re distracted by the fun conversation. The exterior of the building is misleading for how relaxing it feels inside. I was looking for a deep, problem-solving massage experience, and Don de...livered. He dug into a lot of points where i was housing tension - some of which i was aware of and others i was not. He and i chatted throughout most of the session - a lot about my lifestyle so that he could figure out why i have tension in some places. I enjoyed his chattiness, and it felt valuable so that he could figure out what all i needed. I have a decently high pain tolerance, and Don made sure to give me warnings when he was going to dig into a likely more sensitive area. He also communicated how much longer he was going to focus on a particular spot before moving on and potentially coming back to it, which was helpful for me to understand what to expect. My body feels like i have more range of motion after one 90-minute session, and a lot of my problem areas feel significantly better. I did have some lingering tenderness on specific spots if i moved in certain ways the day after, but it felt beneficial (more like muscle soreness after working out than like a bruise or injury).
