Chris was nice enough and was able provide a tweak that was certainly helpful, but it felt like a buddy watching me hit balls on the range and offerin...g his thoughts, rather than a true lesson. No thoughts on alignment, set up, body action, etc. just a simple tweak to the rotation (or lack thereof) in my arms throughout the swing, and that was it. Maybe I'm closer to being a better golfer than I believe, but when I asked for drills or thoughts to take with me to further incorporate the suggested change into my game none were offered, and there was no discussion of follow ups in order to track or build upon progress. For someone trying to get from a 12 to a single digit handicap, I know it will be a process, and am prepared for as much, but this just felt like someone who was happy to spend the hour with me but whom didn't have much interest in pushing the relationship or my game further, which was quite a letdown, especially when considering his reputation and his rates. Maybe it was something I did or said, but again, I would assume that if someone is paying his freight, he would know there at least a bit serious about the process and would be expecting more.
