      Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive treatment to eliminate uncomplicated spider veins less than 1 mm and uncomplicated reticular veins less than 3 mm in diameter. During treatment, Asclera is injected into an affected vein, causing it to seal shut and eventually be reabsorbed into the body, fading over time. Asclera (polidocanol) is an FDA approved sclerosing agent with the lowest risk of side effects.  Please be advised that compression stockings should be worn following the procedure for two weeks. A Sclerotherapy consult is required prior to treatment.
