I met with Angie Cain, who was super helpful, and supportive. I like having a face with a name and really appreciated her taking time to meet with me and explain things.
New Faculty/Staff Orientation
Vonyshisa Shefton - Aug 17, 2017
I transferred my benefits from another state institution but the orientation was very informative, creative and interesting. The HR department greeted us into the University. I learned alot of interesting facts and stories about Clemson University that I've never known within the orientation as well as during the tour. The ice cream (butter pecan) was not only free but delicious. HR and representatives covered all basis of the benefits and optional selection of retirement and insurance.
Daniel Gillespie - Aug 15, 2017
I had already filled out the interview form online so I just answered a few questions to clarify so of my responses. While I was there I was also able to finish up switching my health & optional life insurance coverage from active employee to retiree. HR personnel made copies of all the forms for my records & were very helpful.
Great and easy
Zachary Brenton - Aug 11, 2017
It was simple. The information was helpful and easy to understand. The presentation was nice. The only reason its 4 stars instead of 5 is because the benefits book doesn't have page numbers.
Spacil Amanda - Aug 9, 2017
Quick and effective, just wish I had known about the orientation earlier. But when I went for the I-9, and then again for benefits counseling it was very fast and I got everything I needed done!
