New Staff Benefits Counseling
New staff members may request a 1-hour session designed to assist them with making benefit and retirement elections. Eligibility is based on position and employment status. There is a 30 day deadline from the date of hire to make benefit elections.
Exit interviews scheduled on Monday or Tuesday will be done over the phone. The exit interview survey provides departing staff with the opportunity to provide feedback about their experience at Clemson University. Interviews are highly encouraged.
HR representatives are available to assist international faculty, staff and students with the following services: Employment eligibility verification, employment eligibility re-verification , and related tax.
Benefits Inquiries and Changes
Existing faculty and staff who would like to meet with a benefits counselor in a confidential, one-on-one setting to discuss their benefits are asked to schedule a meeting to discuss insurance and/or retirement.

I have been to HR for several times. The front desk Mrs Heidi or other lady was also super friendly and helpful. Usually I can solve my problem with one visit, so far I have no problem deal with HR.
