Friendly Helpful and Effective

I was late coming from work, they were very nice about it and gave me directions. Best service I've received on campus. Thanks!

My exam process went quite smoothly. Gorky Cruz was very helpful in consulting me and helping me to find further resources for Spanish practice. He was very encouraging!

Was told that I would have the option of traditional chinese, and you can imagine my surprise when I found out at test-time that this option was unavailable. That is unacceptable, but also why only have simplified? Both are used in substantial academic research. Ridiculous also to not be able to use my Pleco dictionary on my ipad. No one uses print dictionaries anymore. Only giving a high service rating because the person there was very helpful.

My experience registering and talking to the staff was A+. I do wish that after I registered the emails didn't always say "you're not done yet, fill out this" because I think I ended up confirming my registration 3 times. Maybe get rid of that once a person registers so they aren't constantly reminded that they need to do something that they already did. The test itself was straightforward. A little tricky in the wording at times and definitely trying to trip you up, but not terrible.
Service good, questions bad

The guy who administered the test was awesome, very professional and nice. The heat in the room was unacceptable considering we have to sit there for two hours. The questions were equally as ridiculous . 3 questions were so tricky, I would have been unable to answer them if the reading had been in English - let alone a foreign language. This is a test about my comprehension of the language, not my ability to answer trick questions. Very disappointing.
