best advisor, the advisor that I talked to made things so clear and answered all my questions. Gave me enough time to ask and discuss my study plan with him.

As a person looking for a new career path in life, the counselor helped me with my decision on where to go from where I am!

As my junior year is coming to a close, I would like to say that I am extremely appreciative of how much and often Professors are willing to help you in their course. Aside from spending time in class as well as time in office hours, many professor will devote even more time to students outside of those brackets. I've made it this far with their help and I expect to graduate next spring!
Professors in the Computer Science Department
K.B. - Apr 1, 2016
I am about to finish my freshman year at UT Dallas as a computer science student. The majority of my experience with the department has been fantastic. The professors are great and they really care about your education. I really feel like I am getting a world class education with the CS program here. The only problem I had was with the CS 1336 professor, Laurie Thompson. She doesn't really teach, just spits the book at you. Avoid her at all costs.
Carolyn Harris - Mar 19, 2016
Shirley Wilson was my son's advisor - he will be an incoming freshman in the fall of 2016. Ms. Wilson was extremely helpful and thorough and her positive demeanor and professionalism solidified our decision to attend this spectacular university. She was welcoming and very knowledgable and answered all of our questions. She made my son feel welcome and encouraged an open door policy whenever he had questions. Excellent experience.
