Though the Catalog had changed up on me, Brooke Hudspeth was very nice and explained all that I needed to do to ensure a smooth transition. Was worth coming over.
Challenging and Rewarding
N.P. - Oct 8, 2016
The classes are tough but will pay off in the long run. Advisors are very kind and will assist you if you utilise their resources. At times they are short staffed because life happens, they do their best to accommodate you. The atmosphere is very academic and professors and TA's work with you. The vast majority are not interested in failing you, and will dedicate a lot of time to those who ask for it.
Incompetent, Unnecessary, and Arbitrary Bureaucracy - AVOID
C.H. - Oct 4, 2016
They refuse to let you sign up for any classes until you attend orientation, and then they basically throw over a hundred people into a room serviced by only a handful of advisers, with little to no explanation for processes or reasons behind class choices/requirements. I later made an appointment again with my specific CompSci advisor, and instead they give me a 24 year old psych major who knew nothing of my program. Get your sh#t together, this is only my lifelong education after all.
Crystal Favors - 75hr Audit
S.S. - Oct 1, 2016
Ms. Favors was great, as always. She had all the paper work ready, did her best explaining things to me, and answered every question I had.
Marie Schier - 75-hr Audit
Brian Duncan - Sep 29, 2016
Marie is terrific! She is quite prepared before you arrive for your appointment, and she is very willing to answer any of your questions. She also ensures she has a clear picture of your goals and that you are on the best path. I am quite satisfied that she is my appointed advisor!
