• Private Lesson Information
  Please select one of the six below listed private lesson areas. there may be up to three students per 1/2 hour session. The appointment you make today will also be listed on a calendar located inside the "Beach-house" gym.
• 1. Hitting and Blocking-Net Play ($30.00)
  Covers all aspects of Hitting and Blocking. Closing the block with proper footwork. Swing Blocking will also be reviewed with direction on when it should be utilized.
• 2.Setting-Beginning/Intermediate ($30.00)
  This class is meant for the basic 12's, 13's or 14s player. Class covers aspects of footwork, hand position and transition. Instructor will also explain net positions and different tempo sets.
• 3. Setting-Advanced ($30.00)
  This curriculum is designed to help the intermediate and advanced setter to the next level. Understanding positions of the net coupled with different tempos. Understanding the defense while in your offensive system. When and how to dump.
• 4. Defensive Skills ($30.00)
  Defensive Skills - understanding multiple serve receive options & different defensive positions. Instructor will also cover the importance of "reading the block" and "finding the split" in the block. Floor defensive "how and when to dive or roll"
• 5. Serving Skills ($30.00)
  Covering all aspects of serving: -Zones -Jump Serving (float and snap) -Basic Overhand Serving -Footwork prior, during and after serve.
• 6. Passing ($30.00)
  Passing will deal with all aspects of footwork, arm position. Class will cover hand and arm position for overhead passing. Instuctor will also teach the art of communication needed throughout this area.
