This visiting "Wharf Rat" was made to feel at home by staff at TCFWB. November weather cancelled my 'check out sail'. I shall return. TCFWB is my kind of place. In my opinion it is a great place and there should be more like it everywhere. .
Great time for the kids!

I would definitely recommend this tour to others. We had a group of about 40 kids who aren't always the easiest and they had a blast making the wooden boats and exploring around the docks. Our guide brant did an exceptional job with the kids. Thanks for having us!

As a school we love to take our kindergarteners to the center for wooden boats. We always have a great experience and the staff/volunteers are amazing. Yesterday we had a scheduled fieldtrip that accidentally got missed on their schedule. They were able to help the students have a wonderful field trip and an amazing experience. Thank you to Judie for her help! Wynne

I took my class of fifth grade boys here for a lesson on sailboat design. They were EXCELLENT. Kind instructor, fun yet useful craft, and very easy to work with to set up the trip. Highly recommend!
My Favorite Place in Seattle

CWB is probably my favorite place in Seattle. Took a 2 hr sailing lesson as a refresher and followed up with a check-out. Nice and straightforward. Knowing I had prior experience, my instructor asked me specifically what I wanted to work on, and despite super light winds we got a lot done. Take a few lessons. It helps the center out and gets on the water.
