I have gone to Yelly for several years at Festoon and now at Bijoux. She has given me several different styles at various lengths - long layers, medium layers, shoulder length, A-line bob, bangs, no bangs, pseudo-bangs (??). She has always given me amazing cuts in all of these styles and I always look amazing. Currently have an A-line and received MANY compliments. Nice summer cut.

A while ago, Yelly cut my hair into a mohawk. It's been getting a bit long and ready for a trim, and I thought while I was at it, maybe I should do something a bit more interesting. So, I asked Yelly to dye it green, and it looks great! It looks about as natural as an unnatural hair color like green can look! I've only had it for a few days, but I've already gotten lots of compliments! Yelly did an amazing job and I'm definitely planning on going back to her any time I need more hair work done.

Thank you so much for a pain-free easy going experience. Truthfully I have a very little frame of reference. I get my hair cut maybe twice a year and it's usually by a family member. I know, I need to get out more. She is truly good at what she does (socially/professionally) and I can honestly say this is the best hair cut I have ever had. I now have, "a gal who does my hair." I had a cut/color appt. I decided to be adventurous and do the ombré look.The cut was prefect! However, the coloring was a bit subtle for me. Yelly insisted i wait a couple of days, let the toner sink in a bit, she offered to do a complete redo FREE of charge! Mind you this is a 2+ hour service. now that's great customer service. Shows that she's very personable and gives you realistic opinions. Bottom line, choose: Yelly! I took her up on the redo and been getting compliments since!

Yelly is my hair whisperer. I've been seeing her for 6 yrs. now, and she is fantastic. She cut my hair for my wedding and is now guiding me through a semi mid-life crisis as I am growing my hair out for the first time in my life. I highly recommend her to allt he men out there who only go to "barbers" and miss out on the relaxing neck massage.

Not only is the salon super laid back, non pretentious, and in a great location, but I really felt like Yelly took her time "getting to know" my hair before she started the cut. Also, the shampoo/head massage is alone worth the price of admission. My haircut is great and i'll DEF be back!

I am very picky about my hair and have been to many stylists. Yelly is the only stylist I have gone to in San Francisco, and I have been going to her for the past 4 years. She has cut my wavy hair in a way that no other stylist has, making me actually like my natural style rather than just wanting it to be straightened. After going to Yelly, I will never go anywhere else to get my hair cut. Besides being an amazing and kind person, Yelly really knows what she is doing. Not only did I get a great haircut, but also a very relaxing rinse which included a great head and neck massage. I will recommend Yelly over and over again.

Yelly came highly recommended so I had high expectations. I was trying to get a new hairstyle that my prior cut didn't achieve. She listened to what I wanted and then cut, maknng small changes that made all the difference. She also explained carefully what i needed to do to daily to keep the style going. She's personable and sincere. I'm a fan.

i followed yelly to bijoux, love the salon better than festoon. the whole vibe was way more her. she gives the best haircuts hands down, i flew in from texas just to get it done (and have been flying in her for for years). LOVE HER.

I've had Yelly as my stylist now for several years, so when she left her former salon to work with Bijoux, I had to follow her - even though I live in Oakland and Bijoux is in downtown San Francisco. It's worth the travel - nice atmosphere, great service, awesome hair cut, fun times talking with Yelly.

I travel across the bay and then some just to get to Yelly. She really does an amazing job! She understands what you want and then some. I have tried to find someone in my area and they just mess my hair up. She is very easy to work with and does not push a style or product on you. You won't be disappointed

I have been getting my haircut by Yelly for 10 years, but this was my first time at her new salon, Bijoux. I found Bijoux to be a relaxing and comfortable space, and everyone was very friendly. I always look forward to getting my hair cut by Yelly, as she knows how to balance being professional and fun. My hair is thick and very difficult to cut, and it does not take color well, but Yelly always finds a way to give me what I want. I highly recommend Yelly as a stylist!
