A while ago, Yelly cut my hair into a mohawk. It's been getting a bit long and ready for a trim, and I thought while I was at it, maybe I should do something a bit more interesting. So, I asked Yelly to dye it green, and it looks great! It looks about as natural as an unnatural hair color like green can look! I've only had it for a few days, but I've already gotten lots of compliments! Yelly did an amazing job and I'm definitely planning on going back to her any time I need more hair work done.

Thank you so much for a pain-free easy going experience. Truthfully I have a very little frame of reference. I get my hair cut maybe twice a year and it's usually by a family member. I know, I need to get out more. She is truly good at what she does (socially/professionally) and I can honestly say this is the best hair cut I have ever had. I now have, "a gal who does my hair." I had a cut/color appt. I decided to be adventurous and do the ombré look.The cut was prefect! However, the coloring was a bit subtle for me. Yelly insisted i wait a couple of days, let the toner sink in a bit, she offered to do a complete redo FREE of charge! Mind you this is a 2+ hour service. now that's great customer service. Shows that she's very personable and gives you realistic opinions. Bottom line, choose: Yelly! I took her up on the redo and been getting compliments since!

She cut my hair for my wedding and is now guiding me through a semi mid-life crisis as I am growing my hair out for the first time in my life. Not only is the salon super laid back, non pretentious, and in a great location, but I really felt like Yelly took her time "getting to know" my hair before she started the cut. Also, the shampoo/head massage is alone worth the price of admission. My haircut is great and i'll DEF be back!

She has cut my wavy hair in a way that no other stylist has, making me actually like my natural style rather than just wanting it to be straightened. I've had Yelly as my stylist now for several years, so when she left her former salon to work with Bijoux, I had to follow her - even though I live in Oakland and Bijoux is in downtown San Francisco. It's worth the travel - nice atmosphere, great service, awesome hair cut, fun times talking with Yelly.

Very professional and thorough work, relaxing atmoshpere, fun chit-chat and high quality products... just the PERFECT salon experience. My color looks great- I have been to high end salons in Santa Barbara, LA and San Francisco, this is one of the best highlights I have had.

I travel across the bay and then some just to get to Yelly. She really does an amazing job! She understands what you want and then some. I have tried to find someone in my area and they just mess my hair up. She is very easy to work with and does not push a style or product on you. You won't be disappointed

I have been getting my haircut by Yelly for 10 years, but this was my first time at her new salon, Bijoux. I found Bijoux to be a relaxing and comfortable space, and everyone was very friendly. I always look forward to getting my hair cut by Yelly, as she knows how to balance being professional and fun. My hair is thick and very difficult to cut, and it does not take color well, but Yelly always finds a way to give me what I want. I highly recommend Yelly as a stylist!
