    Excellent Massage

    I have been receiving massages from Simone on a regular basis for years. She is a gifted massage therapist whose healing touch rejuvenates the body and relaxes the mind. Her warm oils and deep tissue massage allow one to reach a blissful state on the table and enjoy the benefits for days afterward. She has a strong intuition as to what the body needs and a kind, gentle manner that puts one at ease. Her massage studio is in downtown San Rafael, but feels like a peaceful oasis.

    Ayurveda consultation

    Simone de Winter of Marin Ayurveda interviewed me and diagnosed several health problems. I was then advised concerning diet and life style. I intend to follow her advice as best I can and I expect great results. Simone is very professional and capable and I have already recommended her to a friend.

    So looking forward to Panchakarma

    I have been wanting to do Panhakarma for years. Right now, I want a space where I can heal from a year of taking care of dying people. I believe I will be well taken care of by Simone de Winter.

    Blissful Massage

    I love the massage, felt so relaxed! However I would have really liked my neck, shoulder and upper back region a bit more worked on. Other than that it was a beautiful experience.

    Very calming, intuitive massage

    Simone has an excellent, intuitive touch and I left her office feeling completely relaxed. Her office is also very peaceful and I love the apothecary jars filled with spices and herbs.

    Wonderful help

    I can recommend Simone highly for her emotional and spiritual support as I was making changes in my life with her help as well nutritional and seasonal guidance, herbal remedies and Ayurvedic massages. She also works with a local acupuncturist/Chinese herbalist who has been a wonderful complement. If you would like to make a major commitment to Ayurvedic living or simply want to get a taste of what it offers, I would strongly recommend working with Simone.

    Wonderful experience

    My Idea of Heaven

    I had my first consultation and warm oil treatment with Simone. Since I can have pain issues, I asked her to go gentle with the massage and she did. I left feeling deeply nourished and with easy, actionable advice on lifestyle and diet. I will definitely be back!

    Wonderful

    Marian is wonderful! She is thorough, tuned in at all levels and gifted in her healing work. I have had a lot of digestive challenges since I was young, and Marian goes deep in her energy work to resolve the underlying issues. HIghly recommended!

    Moving Through

    I am at a transition point in my life at all levels and I'm also wanting to manage pain w/o meds. The session began with an extensive conversation that was integral to the touch. Afterwards I felt quite light and 2 days later had a major insight into my present situation. I think this was directly related to the physical and verbal work of my session. I was and continue to be amazed at the powerfulness of this work which doesn't seem like it would be so impactful but definitely is.

    Simply the best

    Simone is a master of her craft. As usual she provided me with a wonderfully healing massage. She is very compassionalte and really pays attention. Simone has raised the bar so high that I am no longer able to go to anyone else.

    Bliss and and complete relaxation

    I cannot recommed Simone highly enough. Her hot oil massage is unbelievably skillled and relaxing and she is able to both heal and release with her touch. The oils smell great and a session with her is equivalent to spending an entire week on the beach in terms of 'rebooting'. Double thumbs up.

    Loved my Hot Oil Massage!

    Simone is incredibly insightful and a healer on many levels. The hot oil massage I got was comprehensive and so delightful. The attention paid to my feet was GREAT. I look forward to returning for some more treatments and to learning more about the Ayurvedic philosophy.

    The Ultimate Vacation

    Simone at Marin Ayurveda is the only person who can completely "unplug" my busy mind in an hour or two, leaving me in "vacation mode" for the next 24 hours. It's the best rest I get without actually leaving on vacation. I recommend her without reservation!

    Very nice experience

    Very professional, and great bodywork. I loved the warm oil, it was soothing and luxurious. And the massage space is clean, cozy and charming. I wasn't that familiar with the area, so got a litle lost on the way to my appointment, which made me late. Simone was quite gracious about that. All in all, a very nice massage.

    Spiritual and Inner upliftment

    Received this as a birthday present and it was a total surprise. The "Shirodhara" experience was totally relaxing and uplifting. Always wanted to experience and it really lived up-to expectation. Simone is highly knowledgeable and experienced.

    Interesting Place - GREAT massage!

    It took a little while to find the place, but luckily I made it on time. I believe it is someone's home partially turned into a massage studio. Anyway, once I got over the setting, I possibly had one of the BEST massages in my life! Simone is very professional and puts a lot of effort into her craft. Thank you.

    Beautiful, nurturing massage

    I loved my massage with Simone. It was deep and soothing. Simone's presence is perfect. I wish I lived nearby rather than 7 hours away, but I will definitely go back when I am again in Marin.

    Great 90 minute massage!

    Simone was very good and found exactly the right amount of pressure for me. Would definitely go back -- and actually will next week : )! Treat yourself to something nice!

    Wonderful Massage

    Simone is excellent - very skilled and caring. The setting is relaxing and I felt cared for once I was inside. I should have brought a bottle of water with me, as I was very thirsty after the deep tissue work, but otherwise it was a nice experience.

    Opening the blocks

    I have had many massages before and would have to rate Simone in the top of my experiences. The oil massage was thorough and healing every step of the way. Finishing it off with the Shirodhara treatment was not only a new experience for me, but an Ayurvedic treatment that I will never forget. I felt as if layers upon layers were slowing drifting off my mind and being replaced with calm and and serenity. My third eye felt like a drain clearing of unwanted and non-serving blocks.

    Great massage for relaxation

    Simone is wonderful at what she does, which is putting you in a very relaxed state during her massage. I only wish she had gone deeper in a few areas, but part of that was probably me not speaking up about it, because I was in a dream like state. :-)

    Supreme and lasting Bliss

    I have never been more calm, centered, and at peace in my life. I am a seasoned yoga and meditation teacher and practitioner, and have received many "massage" treatments, but Simone's Shirodhara was a completely new experience (and one that will now be a regular for me). As is the case with all skillful Ayurvedic treatments, the effects (sublime, deep, sweet) lasted not just for a few hours, but into the following days. The treatment (and Simone's presence) centered me in every cell.
