Andy and Christina were the BEST! Lakeland Winery provided some pretty FANTASTIC wines for our fundraiser! They both helped put the "FUN" in fundraiser. We were welcomed, as though we were guests into someone's home. By the end of the night, we felt like family! Andy, Christina and crew at Lakeland Winery are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! And the wine is out of this world! We will definitely be back!

What a relaxing and enjoyable time!!! We have enjoyed 2 wine-tasting parties, bringing our own food and paper products, with Lakeland Winery providing tastes of 27 wines. We're most impressed with the way we are encouraged to carry on conversations while the wine hostess circulates among us, explaining the wines we are tasting. It's just like entertaining at home with plush couches and several tables and chairs. We will be doing this again and again, for sure!

Had a wonderful time at Lakeland Winery. The price for a tasting was $7 for about 25 tastings, that's a great value. The variety of wines that we tried were very good. The hostess that poured for us was fun and knowledgeable about all the wines. It's also nice that you can bring in your own snacks. Will definitely go there again.

My husband and I paid $7 each to taste about 30 wines - a good price. Lakeland has a lot of interesting flavor combinations to sample. The hostess leading our tasting was very friendly and we ended up purchasing five bottles of wine. Overall, very laid-back and welcoming atmosphere. Our visit was very pleasant and we would like to return on our next trip to Syracuse.

We went for a birthday celebration and the atmosphere of Lakeland Winery was very homey and warm. Not a lot of make-your-own wine wineries have that feeling! I would definitely go again :)

This is our 3rd time making wine and we love it. The staff and Andy are helpful with suggestions about the all the different wines available. The fun though is tasting, making and bottling your own vintage... Bring friends and snacks, it's a wonderful way to get together.

Our experience at Lakeland Winery was wonderful and relaxing. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about the wines and the wine making process. They were ready to laugh with us and made us feel extremely comfortable. The environment of a cozy little place like a living/dining room was also great! It was just an all around great time!

I went with a bunch of my wine loving ladies from work and we had a great time! We were able to sample a variety of wines and can not wait to go back to bottle our wine and create our own labels. The staff was very friendly and helped make our experiences even more fun. The only down side to our entire trip was that we drove right past the place. There is no sign on the front of the building and that makes it difficult to find.

while it looked kind of sketchy from the outside, it was very nice and homey inside. Tristen out wine host was very knowledgable and assisted greatly in selecting our 25 samples based in wines we enjoy. We both found that we loved almost every one we sampled and we have found a great new winery in our back yard. We can not wait to go back I make our own batch of wine and I highly recommend this winery to anybody who enjoys wine. Thanks for being wonderful!!

This adventure started with a wine tasting where we tasted about 25 wines before selecting which wine we were going to make, a Cranberry Malbec. We brought appetizers with to make the wine tasting a lot of fun. Making wine with Andy, the Master Wine Maker, was not only educational, but fun! We can't wait to go back in 7 weeks to bottle our wine. A wine making party at Lakeland Winery is a great idea for friends or relatives who want to spend some time together in a light, fun atmosphere.

My fiancé and I decided on bottles of wine for our wedding favors for all our 250 guests! I could not be more pleased with the way our wines turned out. From the tastings, to the making, even the bottling process was a wonderful experience. Everyone there is super helpful and they make the experience that much more enjoyable! We will be going back to bottle wine for Christmas gifts next year!

My sisters and I celebrated a BIG birthday for my mom by tasting, and making her wine of choice. Andy and Christina (who are now part of the family) took great care of us. Fun time for some friends to gather over a glass of wine. We were able to try numerous wines. Then we were able to go make some. In seven weeks we can exchange all our different wines with each other after bottling. Fun time!!

I held a surprise birthday party and the staff was not only accommodating, but so much fun. We arrived early and were able to decorate and bring in our own food/beverages. We were left sitting is a dark parking lot with theh shop closed up tight on the night of our appointment with NO ATTEMPT to contact us about the delay in arrival even though we had to register contact info when we made the appointment. When we called to find out what was going on, not only did we get a poor attitude, we were told it would be at least 20 minutes before someone would be able to come for our prearranged appointment. Needless to say, weleft for our dinner reservation w/o tasting.

Our neighborhood Bunco group did a tasting and made wine at Lakeland winery last night. There were 12 of us in our group and we had such a nice time. We felt so comfortable there like we were sitting in our own living room and tasted some wonderful wines. We can't wait to go back!!

A friend and I each made a batch of wine. Can't wait to get back and bottle it and take it home. The process was easy and fun and even though we joke about people who would check in on their wine via the webcam - we have of course both done it! The wine tasting was fun, but a little disorganized. The young woman who served us was new and still learning. She was really friendly and helpful but a little better organization would have made the selection easier. Thanks for a great afternoon.

Our experience at Lakeland Winery was delightful. Andy and his assistant were cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable. We brought two trays of hors d'oeuvers to share and enjoy as we sampled 9 of Lakeland Winery's fine wines. We had a tough time deciding between the Australian Cab Blend and the Pinot Noir .But after a third sampling the Cab won . The winemaking session was unique and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this winemaking experience.

Lakeland Winery, Inc. was much smaller than I expected. I found several dry wines that I did enjoy but found many of the semi-dry and sweet wines to have a watered down flavor. On the other hand, it was a nice idea to be able to have a wine-tasting party at Lakeland with your friends and then have the wine made that you all enjoyed. It's very economical when you split the costs and a fun activity.

Looking for something different to do with friends? This is perfect. I had purchased a Groupon for the wine party. Scheduling the party was easy to do on-line, and Andy was prompt in e-mailing additional information. We had a great time socializing, eating snacks and sampling several of the wines. We'll return in a few weeks to bottle the wine we had the chance to make...looking forward to it! What a unique experience!

We've made wine at Lakeland for many years, alll vintages, all varietals have been fabulous. Our first effort was so good that I thought that we'd erroneously picked a bottle that we'd purchased from a Finger Lakes Winery...but no! It was ours; it was very, very good. Amazing!

This was my fourth time making wine with family: Stag's Leap Merlot, Montepulciano, Chilean Pinot Noir, and Lodi Ranch 11 Cabernet. Each experience has created a memory and bonded 3 generations. The additional bonus has been the great wine! Will do again!

The staff was very nice and answered all our questions. This was a first time experience and because we enjoyed it so much, we plan on visiting again with friends.
