• Prospective Undergraduate 20 min
  This appointment is for students interested in attending the University of Utah and would like to know more about our department, the Linguistics major and/or TESOL certificate.
• New Student Advising 20 min
  We’ll discuss the major requirements, general education, bachelor degree, upper division and total hour requirements.
• MAP:New Transfer Student 20 min.
  Transfer students are required to meet with an advisor and attend an orientation. We’ll look at how your credits transferred to the U. We’ll talk about the major and all other requirements.
• Declare Major/Minor 20 min.
  This appointment is for current University of Utah students who would like to declare a major or minor.
• Major/Minor Advising 20 min.
  This appointment is for current Linguistics majors/minors.
• TESOL Cert. Advising 20 min
  This appointment is for students who are interested or are pursuing the TESOL certificate.
• Class Scheduling 30 min.
  During your appointment, we'll review your course selections for the next semester and subsequent semesters.
• Graduation Clearance 20 minutes
  Please bring an updated DARS and a graduation application.
• Miscellaneous 30 Min
  DARS Exceptions, Withdrawals, Petitions, etc.
• Graduate Students 20 min.
  For current graduate students. We will check your progress and make sure you’re on track with degree requirements.
