  This appointment is for prospective undergraduates interested in attending the University of Utah and would like to know more about the Middle East Studies program and the discipline.

  This appointment is for prospective graduate students interested in attending the University of Utah and would like to know more about the Middle East Studies graduate program.
• New Student Advising 30 min.
  During your appointment, we'll take a look at major and/or minor requirements.
• MAP: Transfer Student 30 min.
  Transfer students are required to meet with an academic advisor and attend an orientation. Bring your letter of acceptance with the list of courses transferred and/or accepted. Make sure the University has your transfer transcripts.
• MAP: Freshman Advising 30 min.
  During your appointment, we'll take a look at not only major or minor requirements, but also general education, bachelor degree, upper division and total hour requirements. We'll also discuss your plans after graduation.
• MAP: 2nd-year Advising 20 min.
  During your appointment, we'll take a look at not only major or minor requirements, but also general education, bachelor degree, upper division and total hour requirements. We'll also discuss plans after graduation.
• Declare Major or Minor 20 min.
  This appointment is for current University of Utah students who would like to declare a Middle Eastern Studies major or minor.
• Major or Minor Advising 20 min
  During your appointment, we'll discuss how the major or minor curriculum can work for your academic interests and/or career goals.
• Class Scheduling 30 min

  This appointment is for current Middle East Studies graduate students. We'll discuss your progress.
• Graduation Clearance 30 min
  Bring an updated DARS report and a graduation application. We'll review your requirements and discuss courses for your final semesters. We’ll also discuss your career options. Deadlines are: Spring-November 1, Summer-February 1, and Fall-June 1.
