Dr. Martin is thorough, knowledgeable, educational, and resourceful. I've learned so much about my health from her. Her lab tests and follow up are superior to any other physician I have been to. My previous Dr missed some thyroid tests for me and was prescribing incorrect meds for many years. I wish I came to her a long time ago.

I read Angela Pifer's biography and thought she sounded nice so I figured I'd give her a try. I'm not sorry I did! She was very kind, understanding and non-judgemental. I could tell quickly she didn't care if I got thin or not - she was concerned about improving my health. I have seen Dr. James on three occasions and every time I go in I feel comfortable knowing I am getting the best medical care. She explained my blood work in a way that I could understand so I did not have the “deer in the headlight look” or feel like I am asking an unintelligent question. She is caring, takes her time and has a great sense of humor, which I feel is essential in your care provider. I would and have recommended her to my friends and family.

This was my 2nd visit with Dr. Martin. I really enjoy the way she listens and lays out options. She really does understand that I am in charge of my body and when issues are clearly explained that I will make intelligent choices that are best for me. The one thing I would like to see at the Red Cedar Wellness Center is official letterhead paper that all the doctors can use when printing out receipts or letters for their patients.

She didn't automatically disregard any symptoms because they didn't fit a presumptive resolution. If fact she took all the information gathered and said she was going to do some research. Needed an appointment fairly quickly and was pleasantly surprised that I got into see Janile Martin, ARNP & ND within a day of calling. I am very pleased with the thoroughness of Dr. Martin as she wanted to do some "homework" before doing any blood work and other annual tests. The "homework" she was referring to was to go over all my old records.

This was one of the best experiences I have had with a doctor and doctor's office. Booking the appointment online, getting email reminders, getting new patient forms online and follow up calls made everything smooth and easy from the beginning. I have spent many years being too cold and in recent months lacking energy to get through my daily routines. I visited with Dr. Martin to ask if adding a small amount of extra thryoid hormone to my own production might be in order. -- the results are miraculous ... I had my first visit to Dr. Martin & RCW this week- an hour utterly well spent. Receptionist Cathy was a joy to meet, & Dr. Martin is a truly caring naturopath/NP/acupuncturist. She helped me create a self-treatment plan for my fatigue, stress, anxiety, & endometriosis symptoms. Looking forward to the positive changes, as well as to my follow-up appointment in about a month.

Dr. Amy has an incredible gift in being able to eliminate pain. Four years ago I twisted my back. Now and again it get's our of whack and my entire left side seizes up. One visit with Dr. Amy and I am back on track and completely straightened out. She really cares about her patients and takes the time to listen and ask many questions to assess the entire body and what is happening on a whole. I highly recommend her and belive she is the BEST!

For 9 months I have been dealing with sciatica pain. I have been the physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, neurosurgeon, pain doctors, etc. and I feel Dr. Amy has a gift for helping to get a person out of pain, better than anyone else. She knows how to listen and understand your body and knows right where to go to make it right. She is a great listener not only to you, but also your body. She is intuitive as to how to see the whole picture. She's great!

I heard Dr.Martin speak on complimentary treatments for cancer at a support group meeting. She was very thorough and knowledgeble, so I scheduled a consultation. We discussed supplements, and I appreciated the fact that she prioritized them so as not to overwhelm me with pills(as I have experienced w other naturopaths) I I also like the fact that she does acupuncture so I could have that therapy also. She is very kind and has a gentle manner that one really needs when dealing with cancer.

Dr. James is successfully treating digestive issues with which I have struggled for several years (all other treatment plans by other doctors have failed). She is warm, and a good listener. The Red Cedar Wellness Center office is also nice. The front desk staff are very welcoming and the office is not too clinical.

I first saw Dr. Martin over 4-years ago when I had cancer. What I love about her is she isn't anti-western medicine. She never tried to convince me not to do chemo -- instead she said, "Let's see what things we can do to support your body during treatment", and we added supplements, acupuncture, etc., alongside my chemo. She understands there's a place for all different kinds of medicine and knows how to blend them perfectly, according to your comfort level. She's my primary doc now -- love her!

I really like Dr. Martin she is very knowledgable and laid back, which is a great combination in a doctor. She always offers me practical advice in a caring way that makes me feel comfortable and reassured.

I had my first experience with a Naturopath and found it very positive. I was given a warm welcome by the receptionist, offered tea, and was met by Dr. Martin. She was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable and helpful in her efforts to help me. I look forward to our followup appointment.

I went through about six naturopaths before settling down with Dr. Laura. She is top notch. She is careful, up-to-date, and flexible in her approach. She is also knowledgable about conventional treatments, which I find very useful. She is very caring and kind. She's the best.

I liked Dr. Martin from the moment I met her. She is warm, engaging, thorough, thoughtful and a very smart doctor. It is rare to find any doctor these days who will take the time to really listen, and then take the time to think, research and present educated options for their patients. Professional while relaxed and comfortable. A non-intimidating atmosphere where practitioners listen and care. They are also knowledgeable and effective. Dr. Amy was recommended to me and I am so glad she was. I recommend her to anyone I know with back problems. She's made a difference.

A great clinic, caring staff, easy to make an appointment. They take the time to listen to you and to explain things. I didn't feel rushed like I do at the regular doctor's office.
