    Rowan is wonderful!

    My massage with Rowan was so needed and appreciated. She gives a fantastic massage and also so much positive energy. By the time I left I felt lighter physically and emotionally. I will definitely be making massages with Rowan a regular thing.

    Fantastic prenatal massage

    I just visited Rowan for the first time and she was really great. The massage felt so good, and afterwards I felt energized, happy and relaxed. She also has loads of great pregnancy advice on topics such as diet, laboring etc. I will be seeing her again very soon.

    Rowan is super awesome and super healing. She takes the time to figure out what problems you are having and makes each experience unique and specific to you. Love her! Don't trust my body to anyone else.

    Great!

    Rowan really took the time to get to know me and discuss any problem areas. She definitely went above and beyond to give me personalized service. A few days later and I can still feel a difference in my back pain. I can't wait for the next massage.

    Great massage!

    Rowan is wonderful! I had a "baby whisper" massage with her yesterday. We discussed possible roadblocks to my labor and solutions. I slept like a baby last night! No baby yet but I am hopeful it will happen soon! Either way, she made me feel better about the whole process and if I am still pregnant next week I will see her again! Thanks Rowan!

    Rowan really is the whole package. She chooses locations that make a person feel comfortable. She talks to you to understand your needs. She educates you about where your body is having problems and is willing to answer questions about how to help with healing. I love that Rowan and I are a team working on me. Thanks, Rowan!

    Fantastic!

    Rowan is great! I hurt my foot recently, and Rowan could tell me about the injury, help me with it, and tell me what affect the injury is having on other parts of my body. Things are really changing for the better after the massage. Thanks, Rowan!

    Truely a wonderful therapist

    I love going to see Rowan. She offers fantastic services. I have been seeing her for prenatal massages. Not only does she provide a relaxing atmosphere and a fantastic massage, but she provides little tid bits of advice and knowledge that go beyond the typical massage therapist. I look forward to my visit with her everytime I go and would recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable prenatal massage therapist and healer.

    Best Massage Ever !!

    I recently purchased a prenatal massage for my wife. I accompanied her to the massage where we were greeted by THE GREAT Rowan. Not only did my wife receive the best massage ever (her words),questions were answered that were never answered by doctors.Not only will we be returning to Rowan but we will be referring EVERY person we know to Rowan to work the kinks out from now on.

    Lil Pea loved it

    I am 8 months pregnant and was recommended to use Urban Curandera by my doula. I was not having any issues, just the usual pregnancy discomfort. Rowan worked her magic on me! She is so knowledgeable about the pregnant body and has such a calming presence. Being in her company had this effect of making me feel even more empowered as a pregnant woman, as the woman who is going to bring my baby Lil Pea into this world. Rowan rocked!

    Rowan is not only amazing at massage, but she is an incredible human being. She offers practical advice for many different and relevant areas of life and her interpersonal style makes me at ease. I really appreciate that she is sensitive to all sorts of bodies including transgender bodies, as it is not easy to find a massage therapist who has her level of knowledge, skills, and sensitivity.

    AWESOME Labor Prep Massage!!

    At first, I did not want to invest in the Labor Prep massage, but I finally decided to go to Rowan, and it was one of the best decisions during my pregnancy. She does AMAZING work on your body and spirit. She left me feeling so relaxed and at peace with my upcoming labor. I will definitely come back after the baby is born. I FULLY recommend her for any massage.

    Rowan is ABSOLUTELY amazing!!! DO NOT waste your time on a “pregnancy massage” from a chain or these so-called pregnancy spas around town.     This was my first massage ever and Rowan made me feel so incredibly comfortable. I had several years worth of athletic injury and tension and she knew exactly where my soft/injured spots were without me even telling her.     Seriously amazing

    I've had massages before, but this was completely different. This wasn't some wimpy back rub. This was therapeutic, targeted massage with a purpose. Rowan's ability to really identify your problem/tight spots and to work them into submission is completely amazing. She has a truly unique talent and has really found her niche.

    Awesome massage!

    I was referred to Rowan by a friend, and I am so glad that I visited her for a massage! She was full of great information regarding childbirth and the labor and delivery process, AND she provided a fantastic massage. I had been having severe hip pain for a few weeks, and her massage really helped me a lot. She also gave me information on some better sleeping positions, and my back and hip pain have both greatly decreased. I am l ooking forward to one more visit!

    Truly THE best massage ever!

    I first heard of Rowan for hooping from a friend, then it turns out we're classmates! With me now being preggo, I heard of Rowan again. So many coincidences! So I scheduled, and met her, and she is BEYOND awesome, and ridiculously fun! I've been to many massage sessions, but usually they leave you feeling like numb fajita meat, or the touch was too feather-light. Rowan's great: she has this intuitive knowledge, and the whole session is about ME. Rowan truly has magic hands: hope to sched again!

    You can't NOT love her

    I was referred to Rowan by my doulas because I was stuck in early labor for three days at that point. She was not only knowledgeable in what she was doing and talking about, but such a fun person to meet and get to know! I felt a relief in my hips that I didn't realize where so stiff and in my lower back. Most of all, because of her pregnancy massage, I went into labor that night and had my baby the following morning! Maybe it was a coincidence, but I credit it to Rowan and her magic hands!

    Rowan is THE AWESOME!!

    I can't wait to go again! I've had chronic pain for years and this is the first time I feel like I am finally onto something that helps! After seeing several MDs who were clueless, I finally know what's wrong with my lower back and have a workable treatment plan to fix it and am over the moon. I feel so much better today after yesterdays massage. Rowan is a miracle worker. I felt totally comfortable with her even though it was my first session. What an amazing woman!

    Tarot reading by Rowan was just what I needed to see what was going wrong in my life, and how to get back on a better track. Rowan is very knowledgeable in the spiratual life. Location was easy to find, and located in central Houston, so its easily accessable to all. I wonder if Aetna will pay for future visits (jk!).

    My back is so much better...

    Rowan's massage was quite helpful in decompressing my spine - a huge help as it allows me to continue participating in the Zumba and NIA class that I enjoy vastly (and that have helped me lose 35 lbs so far). Very thorough massage - just the right amount of muscle manipulation - no pain! I will continue to work with Rowan to manage my back issues. Thanks Rowan!

    Truly best massage ever

    Rowan is the best massage therapist in Houston. My aches go away and her hands melt my pains. If I could go to her once a week I would! Between prepping for long races and lots of upper body work my body was a mess. Not anymore!

    no more sciatica!

    I first came to Rowan when I was six months pregnant and badly suffering from sciatica. The shooting pains were affecting my mobility and morale. Rowan's soothing massage not only relaxed me, but the sciatic pain was gone within days. I have visited her for follow-up massages once a month since then, and the pain has never returned. Amazing!

    my eyelashes don't hurt

    when i arrived - everything hurt - including my eyelashes when i left - my eyelashes did not hurt :] rowan was able to alleviate much of my stress, which is not an easy thing to do
