A year ago, Lars treated me for hormone imbalance. After 6 treatments, my labs were normal. A year later after no maintenance treatment, my hormones went off course. After 8 treatments my hormone were normal. I am now on twice a month maintenance visits and am doing great! I am sending family members here for various issues with no hesitation. No other acupuncturist that I have found make this financially viable. But Harmony Community does!

I have never used acupuncture...never had the need! In my pregnancy my gallbladder was giving me trouble and I decided acupuncture was the first line of defense...God knows what the Western medical community would have done...prescribed me drugs or surgery...all while pregnant...Gross! Anyway...two treatments and counting and my gallbladder is already feeling much better. This place rocks. I will recommend to everyone I know. Try this first if you are having problems. Not last.

Harmony Wellness Center strives for just that; harmony and wellness. Yes, in an open room where there are five other patients and people coming and going, the noise can break the serenity one is trying to achieve, but earphones or plugs can do wonders.

I enjoy acupuncture at the Harmony Wellness Center in Escondido. It is a relaxing experience in a professional and comfortable setting. Some people fall asleep during their treatment, which can mean loud snoring. Unfortunately, this can disrupt your serene mood. Aside from this, the treatment is very beneficial and pleasant.

I have been seeing Maki, Lars and Karen for quite some time now and have never felt better. The treatments that I have received from Lars have helped control my asthma and allergies. In fact, I have been able to stop taking two prescription drugs which I am sure caused my migraines. Maki and Karen have helped my sore and aching muscles on my lower back and neck. I would recommend acupuncture treatments at HCWC to everyone. And Karen's massages are the best!

Not what I expected when I went to be treated as its a open room w/ chairs that recline back & other people being treated. I am used to having a private room and having more areas worked on. But, I suppose that's why it's less costly. It is relaxing spite this & I haven't gone enough to tell if its working. I am hoping that this place will help & is worth sacrificing a little privacy & perhaps other areas that could be worked on otherwise.

For almost 3 years, Lars has treated my blood pressure, allegies and acid reflux with great success. But it is the improvement of my tinnitus (ear ringing) symptoms that keeps me coming back. My primary care doctors have nothing to offer, but regular treatment by Lars decreases the volume by 2/3rds. It does recur without regular treatment, but the affordable pricing at HWC allows me to visit Lars every week.

I started seeing Lars for menopausal symptoms that were severe and affecting the quality of my life. His treatments have helped amazingly well. He has also treated other symptoms successfuly. I have dropfoot from a herniated disc in my back. The acupuncture treatments have helped strenghten my leg and ankle so that I can walk better and longer without to much of a limp. I believe that this is working. I go twice a week. The regular Drs. told me they could not help me. Go live my life the best I can. I could barely walk. Now I am back to playing golf and sailing. This really works.

I looked up Lars because I had a great experience with him when he treated me about ten years ago. He has recently been treating me for my thyroid problems and anxiety. Since I've had these issues, I've suffered from insomnia. After four treatments, I've been experiencing deep sleep again with normal sleep patterns. This is a wonderful place that makes acupuncture affordable. The staff is wonderful. Although it is in a group setting, you really feel like you are all alone. They play really relaxing music and offer blankets so you can be comfy.

Second go round with Lars and this time I brought a friend who was skeptical. Last time Lars was able to clear up back pain in just 4 sessions. I was always skeptical when it came to acupuncture. Then I went to Lars a few years ago to treat pain related to a partially torn patellar tendon. After a few treatments, I was virtually pain-free and could return to running without the usual negative after-effects. I was pleasantly surprised at the low key first meeting with Lars and intro into the community treatment room. Amazingly - the "needles" didn't hurt! The atmosphere IS soothing and restful.. High blood pressure is now a thing of the past and ear ringing is diminishing as we continue to "work" at doing the impossible (as my kids say) - "calming me down." I could have used acupuncture at least 35 years ago - but better late than never! I And I'm calmer NOW than at any other time in my adult life!

I came to see Lars when I was experiencing a lot of anxiety. I was so stressed that I had picked my fingernails until they were all sore bleeding stumps. I am now feeling much better and love going to treatment where I feel such a sense of serenity and relaxation. Lars is amazing and he is so kind and skilled with his treatment. This was my second experience with acupuncture. My first was not with Harmony. That experience was so bad that it took me over 10 years to try it again. What I was struck by as I entered the Harmony Community Wellness Center was the sense of calm I felt. The sense of healing energy was palpable as I met with Lars on my initial visit. After my initial consultation reviewing areas of concern/treatment, I was led into the community room. That is where the acupuncture is perfomed. Last week my friend told me about Harmony so I had several problems I needed help with so I scheduled an appointment. I found the center clean and well decorated in a relaxing tone. The masseuse, Karen, was attentive and had good listening skills. I would highly recommend her to anyone for massage therapy. Maki did acupuncture and also was a good listener--something that is essential in the healing arts. The treatment was painless and relaxing. I have taken acupuncture treatments before but this is a much nicer setting that is small and intimate--no rush to get to the next patient!!

This is the most affordable and reliable acupuncture place you can find in North County. I have been helped tremendously in my frequent headaches and as a result, reduced to a bare minimum the use of pain killers. After a stay in the hospital, I acknowledged that stress was probably a root cause of my Atrial Flutter, high blood pressure, allergies, eczema and perhaps my tinnitus. When I hurt my lower back through heavy lifting, Lars was able to completely relieve me of the pain aftler six treatments. I still seek out his healing abilities whenver I overdo it physically. He is very caring and follows my health history diligently. The atmosphere of the center is very relaxing and aesthetically pleasing with its Asian decor. The fees are extremely reasonable. Two hours later I was relaxing in a chair with needles comfortably sticking out of me. The staff is very nice and professional and my 45 minutes in the chair was heavenly. Dont want to jump to conclusions but my elbow feels better than yesterday. Very affordable.

I am an on-going customer of the Harmony Wellness Center & an extremely happy one. Lars is super nice,very understanding & makes you feel very welcome. The atmosphere is so relaxing I fall asleep every time. I drive from Oceanside every week to be there. Love it!
