I spoke to Benjamin Cohen about whether the History or Middle East department would be the best fit for me. He was patient, helpful and kind. I didn't feel he was trying to rush me out of his office. He was honest and answered my questions from the view of my best interest and not necessarily the department's. It was a good experience.

I met with Dr Cohen to discuss the possibility and practicality of pursuing a Ph. D. He was extremely helpful and engaging. I certainly would seek his advice again on matters concerning the University of Utah History Department.
