We had another great session with a student worker who helped me and a partner work on a group project. She did a great job.

Using the ASL lab more than the "minimum required for class" can help you improve your grade by at least one or two letter grades. If a student worker or Deaf mentor isn't with another student, don't be afraid to ask if they have a few minutes to work with you. Everyone in the lab is helpful and I've had a few 1-1 sessions with Anna, who is awesome.

I've met with a tutor twice now and they were both very helpful and knowledgeable. They both were able to help me in an area I felt I needed to improve. I left the lab knowing the material better. Everyone has been friendly and welcoming in the lab as well!

I am very pleased with the tutors, I have had two different ones, and they are great!!! Last Monday it was a party in the Lab. and Jesse was my tutor; he never got distracted with people eating cake and having fun. He continue with me like nothing was happening around.

I've used this lab for 2+ years. It's really improved alot! A year ago I started avoiding the lab as I didn't feel it was a good place to study and I didn't feel comfortable. Now I actually feel welcome and encouraged. Becky is great! She's very helpful, patient, and encouraging. The whole team is so much better and it's a good place to learn sign language and get help. One tutor took the time to explain to me a concept that really helped clarify something I've had a question about for a while.
