• Prospective Student 40 min
  I meet with many students whom are undecided on which institution to attend. During this appointment, we'll talk about what the University of Utah offers in comparison to other institutions. The most important part is your success.
• New Student Advising 40 min.
  All incoming students are required to meet with an academic advisor and attend an orientation. Make sure the University has all of your transcripts by calling the Admissions Office (801) 581-7281. New Student Orientation (801) 581-7069.
• Declare Major or Minor 30 min
  The department offers two majors (history academic and history teaching) and two minors (history academic and history teaching). Please take a look at the requirements beforehand and we'll discuss them: http://www.hum.utah.edu/history/?pageId=180
• Major or Minor Advising 30 min
  During your appointment, we'll discuss how the major or minor curriculum can work for your academic interests and/or career goals.
• Class Scheduling 30 min
  Please look at the class schedule in advance and have an idea on interested classes and then we'll go over it and tweak if need be.
• Class Scheduling 40 min
  Sometimes class scheduling for more than a semester or two can be challenging. This appointment gives us plenty of time to explore scheduling options for more than an academic year (two semesters).
• Transfer Petition 20 min.

• Other 45 min
  We realize that every student will not fit into the other categories, so this is for you, HOPEFULLY.
• Scholarships 20 min.
