Great Experience - First Time Visit

Customer service should improve

We are rookie labradoodle owners. Brougth our pup in age 7 for her first grooming and were told we were using the wrong kind of brush. We immediately started brushing her regularily with the recommended brush. We returned 5mo later ( no one said we should come sooner) and were lectured about her being in terrible condition and that if we didn't bring her back in 2 months she would not be seen. We were charged an additional $38 without specific explanation.

I am please with how my standard poodle was treated and now looks. They paid attention to my requests, as I did not want a fancy poodle clip. The only drawback-not knowing in advance exactly how much the service would cost. This could be a challenge if you intend to pay cash and are not well prepared.

Becky and all her staff take such good care of Basil. While we have to drag him through the door (he love the car ride there but then when he realizes where he is, he's not too happy). My cat needed his annual 'Lion' cut

Finding a groomer that will do work on cats is difficult enough, but finding one that is good with them is even harder. Grooming with Finesse did an outstanding job in shaving my cat and ridding him of all the matted hair. After that he was given a bath, dried and kept separate from the dogs until I was able to pick him up. The staff really goes above and beyond in considering the 'stress factor' for cats. It was my first time taking King to the groomers I was alittle scared how he would react he did a wonderful job! When I brought him there he looked rough, he doesn't let me brush him, so he was matted in a few areas overall he looked bad. I picked him up and he looks like a whole new dog, he was bathed and clipped he looks amazing so fresh! I wouldn't hesitate to bring him back. Mixed feelings

Rusty got a decent cut under the circumstances - he was very matted so had to be taken right down. What seems to be lacking though is a sense that B. loves dogs. She seems stern and all business so I was a little apprehensive about leaving our dog there. I would have liked to have seen a bit more warmth towards Rusty especially since he was scared. Most people seem to like him. So I am left with mixed feelings about returning or recommending Grooming with Finesse.

Friendly, skilled grooming in a calming atmosphere for my nervous dog

I have a very old dog who is very nervous about being worked on and especially about being with other dogs. Consistently Excellent Results and Service!

I have taken my Yorkie to Grooming with Finesse several times and I've always been pleased with the results! My dog is very small (3 lbs) and at first I was a little worried about leaving him there, but the staff always ensured that he was able to play with dogs similar to his own size. When I come to pick him up, he's always adorable looking and happy! Don't hesitate to take your dog here - they will treat your pet with care and respect!

Happy Cat!

This was my first experience of having my cat have a lion cut and all the trimmings. We were greeted immediately and my cat was comforted by the staff . The atmosphere was very relaxed, not like at other groomers. My little princess shall return! .

Excellent breed standard wheaten cut

This was my first visit with my wheaten terrier puppy. The groom turned out amazing - the best he's had yet (been groomed 3 other times elsewhere). Even though he didn't behave well the whole time (I *love* that the groomer was honest with me, since I find that other groomers aren't forth-coming about his behaviour), his haircut is even, matt-free, and he looks like a real wheaten.

Great 1st visit

We brought our 6 month old Yorkie in for his grooming appt and were so impressed. He had one other groom previously and did not go so well. He looks fantastic and they did just what we wanted. He was at ease as well. Highly recommend their services....and we will be back for his next groom!

I am very pleased with the quality of grooming my little Lydia received. The scissoring was done perfectly and her little "teddy bear" legs are adorable. I am pleased the Waterloo region has such a competent and established groomer. I understand the groomer is also a Master groomer.
