    One lesson and off and running

    My wife and I recently took a combined 1 hour lesson with Joel. While he was kind saying our swing "was not too bad" he helped us immediately. We are now working on the drills he gave us and have scheduled our next lesson. A great experience.

    Lesson series with Joel Hoffman

    My wife purchased a lesson package for me with Joel. He is working me through some corrections improving my weight transfer and wrist action after lesson 1. I'm very pleased with the results at this point. With his structured help and some quality practice I anticipate lowering my handicap several strokes.

    Lesson # 1 in series of 5

    Kyle was extremely helpful reviewing my setup and swing path. After one hour with a few drills (which I can repeat during driving range practice), he was able to correct my swing path. I could see on the video that my path and ball flight were much improved. After a few weeks, we will build on this swing.

    Driver Fitting

    The driver fitting I had with Kyle was very informative. Kyle was very professional and answered all of my questions. I really learned what spin rate, ball speed, launch angle and club head speed does to the flight of the golf ball. With all the information Kyle gave me, I can now have the right driver in my hands and know that I am getting the most out of the club.

    Improved Swing

    Kyle helped me address a swing problem I've struggled with for some time with my Irons. He broke down the problem for me and explained a solution that I understood. We then worked on simple drills to integrate into my swing. Kyle does a phenomenal job. Thank you!

    Driver fitting

    Joel did a fine job with my driver fitting. I was really impressed that he showed me how my current driver performed as well or better than any of the models I tried out. I walked out of the driver fitting with a huge confidence boost knowing that I'm hitting the right club for me. Joel could have easily talked me into a new driver as there were a few that were close but he's a true pro and I ended up sticking with my current driver.

    Great job

    I saw Kyle for a lesson on Thursday evening. In the half hour he was with me, he had me hitting the ball straight on every swing. I've already referred him to some friends. Worth every penny.

    Four years broken and twenty minutes fixed

    Kyle watched me take three normal swings with my driver and said, "I know what is wrong". He didn't say, "I know what YOU are doing wrong," simply "I know what is wrong". His selection of language made the lesson painless and stick in my head. He used terms I can grab out of thin air while I'm planning out my shot. My horrid hook, which I'd try to self remedy countless times, was finally demystified for me.

    Golf club fitting

    Kyle did an outstanding job during my club fitting. He was patient and very knowledgable about the process and products. I was very happy with my experience and would definitely reccomend Kyle to my golfing friends.

    Great golf instruction!

    Kyle Martin was great as a golf instructor. My husband and I each took 2 lessons (1/2 hour each). He listened to problems we were having and gave us very helpful and effective ways to correct our problems. He also had us use drills which were helpful and will be easy to use on a regular basis. I am sure we will return in the future.

    Very Satisfied

    I have been very pleased with the work that Joel has done with my son. The game can be very frustrating trying to learn, unless you can see results. My son has gotten results and enjoys practicing. The lessons are well worth it.

    Very Happy

    I was struggling with my driver recently...hitting weak shots to the right and left. My shoulder turn was to steep causing a reverse pivot. Seeing my swing on video is all I needed to correct this flaw. I highly recommend Kyle Martin as a golf instructor. Golf lessons with video work if you want game improvement.

    Lesson

    I met Kyle last year and took a few lessons. My ball striking improved dramatically. I returned this year for a lesson. Kyle gave me drills to extend through the hitting area and sent a video of the lesson with comments after the lesson. I have been reviewing the video and practicing the drills with great results. Kyle is a very talented instructer. I highly recommend him.

    Lesson

    I am a golfer who has played for more than 40 years and was struggling with a flawed swing. I had a lesson with Joel Hoffman who did an analysis of my swing then showed me via video what I was doing. He then showed me how to correct the swing flaw and has helped to improve my game. I would recommend Joel if you are looking for some help on improving your golf swing.

    Club Fitting with Kyle Martin

    Kyle Martin and the King Par Staff were outstanding. I was treated like a touring Pro even though I am a high handicaper. I would recommend them for any new club fitting or training.

    I'm pleased

    Kyle was a good instructor and I learned a lot. Hopefully, I can get out on the course and see how much it helps soon. I only wish he had asked what my trouble areas are, and watched how I typically swing before jumping into the lesson, to tailor the lesson to where I needed the most help. I know that the basics he taught me are going to make a huge difference.

    Golf Lesson

    Recently had a 1 hour lesson from Kyle. Proved to be very useful as he pointed out major flaws in my grip and swing which should make a big difference in my game once I get used to the changes.

    My instructor Kyle is the best.

    I told a coworker that I wanted to take golf lessons and he suggested I look up Kyle at Boyne Golf Academy at King Par. I have only taken 2 lessons so far and I have learned plenty from Kyle. He makes you comfortable a eager to learn each step that he wants to teach you. The desk staff is very curteous when you get there. This is a great experience, and I can't wait to try it all on the golf course.

    Incredible experience!

    I am so thrilled with my experience at Boyne Golf Academy at King Par. Kyle's expertise as an instructor of golf techniques along with the technology of the Academy, is helping me understand my swing better. Not only is he making subtle adjustments to make to my swing, but he is helping me understand why those changes work with body mechanics. I can't wait to put my new knowledge into practice on the course!

    Great Experience!

    Thank you Joel. Finally I am on the right track. I have had only 1 lesson out of 5 so far and I am amazed with the results already. Just after 15 minutes of my first lesson, I could not stop smiling. I've never hit the ball so pure! I can't wait to see what I will be doing next week. Thanks Joel and BGA @ King Par!

    Great Session

    Kyle did a great job breaking down my swing and helping me clearly visualize what breakdowns were taking place. I like how the session was organized and focused on building the swing one piece at a time. I was able to walk away with a purpose for my next practice session.

    Trackman

    Had a very nice trackman session with Kyle. He was helpful, knowledgealble and a pleasure to deal with. Only issue was not with him, but with the Titleist hybrid I bought - it doesn't come with the adjustment tool! I would highly recommend a visit to Kyle and trackman to help determine the proper clubs for your swing.

    Very Effective Golf Lesson!

    I am very pleased with Kyle's golf teaching skills. I had my first lesson addressing my basic issues... correcting grip and back swing position. Things I've had many people try to help me with over the years... The first lesson and follow-up video summary have helped me immensely out of the gate. With practice over the past 5 days, I played on the 6th day and my ball striking was the best I've ever been able to take to the course. Thank you Kyle! I'm looking forward to the next 6 lessons..

    latest golf lesson

    Kyle's lesson this week was to help me bring the butt of the club down first and let my hands lead into the ball at contact. Previously, I was, and I am still working on this, shifting my shoulder and causing the club to move out from my body causing a dead pull left. His rather simple lesson technique has helped to eliminate the pull and actually hit the ball more crisp and straighter.

    We have completed our first lesson ever ( wife and I ). We both left the academy at King Par happy, and excited for our first lessons. Kyle is very easy to work with and understand while learning golf techniques we were hoping for. We are looking forward to lesson #2 ( out of 3 lessons total ).

    Club fitting with Kyle Martin

    I was very impressed with the knowledge and expertise that Kyle has as a golf professional. My fitting on the Track Man was precise and it left no doubt in my mind what shaft works best for my golf swing. Kyle gave me some advice on to lower my spin rate with my driver for more distance and a higher launch angle.

    Iron Fitting with Kyle

    I had 2 iron fittings with Kyle over the last 2 weeks and couldnt be more pleased. The trackman system along with Kyles knowledge and information sharing allowed me to understand the goals and characteristics of what we were shooting for when fitting the irons. Kyle took his time and had me hit clubs from all major manufacturers with mutiple shaft set ups to narrow down what suited me best. It was overload at first, but Kyles approach made it calming and fun. CANT WAIT FOR THE IRONS TO COME IN!

    Needed a TuneUp

    Kyle is a very knowledgable golf teacher. The thing I like the most is he didn't try and change my overall swing, he helped me use the swing I have using for 37 years. Amazing.

    Fighting a hook

    Kyle had me on the right path in 5 minutes. It took him 2 swings and he began to give me some very simple corrections that I can work on at home. Get a lesson before you buy new equipment. Kyle and Joel will move you in the right direction.

    Set up a driver fitting with Joel; Set up was Quick and Easy! Patients is key...Joel took the time to answer any questions I had at the time, and offered one insightful swing tip to take my game to another level.     Tune up

    After fighting with my golf swing for the past three weeks I booked a lesson with Kyle. He quickly spotted a couple of bad habits I have developed and gave some drills to use in order to get back on track. First time out after the lesson and the change is dramatic. I should have booked a session with Kyle a lot sooner and will if/when I start to slip backward. I have some physical limitations and Kyle was able to help me work around them.

    Club Fitting

    Kyle and Joel are experts in the field of club fitting, I was fitted this spring and my daughter two weeks ago. They don't rush you and their goal is to fit you with the right irons and woods for your game. Their very patient and welcome questions. Before you purchase clubs go see Kyle or Joel and be fitted.

    Driver fitting

    A great experience, to have the opportunity to hit that many heads and shafts and to see the feedback on the trackman. I feen it is a must for anyone looking for a new driver or any clubs for that matter. Kyle was great and all around great and very helpfull sesson.

    Great experience

    I would highly recommend a visit to the academy before purchasing new clubs. I was impressed with the technical equipment and Kyle was very good at explaining what all that informations means. I saw a marked improvement in my iron's degree of launch and spin rate when fitted with the right shaft and clubhead. Can't wait for my new clubs to arrive! Every golfer should do this before you buy your next set.

    Great For Newbie Training

    Began with Joel as a total neophyte. Beginning with the grip, I have begun a journey to learn and enjoy the game of golf. I have gone from not having a clue to at least knowing some of the basics. Joel has been a patient and encouraging instructor for which I am grateful. My experience at the academy has been a totally positive one. I hope to become proficient enough to enjoy the game of golf. Thanks much Joel!

    Can you teach an old dog new tricks?

    Had my first lesson with Kyle - then went golfing the next day to try out my new grip and new stance. I hit the ball considerably better - I am looking forward to the next four lessons! Thanks, Kyle!

    Club Fitting

    Had a great fitting. Joel brought in clubs for me to try that I previously concedered. Even gave me an instruction tip as my swing stated to falter. would recomend this club fitting for snyone thinking about a new set of clubs.

    Frustrations may be no more

    I have had lessons previously, at KP, prior to it being Boyne golf academy. Kyle did an excellent job of diagnosing my problem and giving me a fix. I have scheduled an entire 5 lessons believing he can make improvements and help me enjoy golf again and not be so frustrated and score 5 to 7 shots better on average.

    First lesson

    I had a great experience during my first lesson. We dove right into making adjustments. They were simple enough yet made a quick difference. The video technology, and subsequent lesson recap that was e-mailed to me, added a lot of value. I plan to continue with more lesson and I look forward to the imporvements in my game.

    My son's clubfitting

    I had the pleasure of getting my son fitted for a set of clubs by Joel Hoffman. He was fantastic! The whole process was insightful, educational and pressure free. I would recommend anyone to Joel no matter what skill level or what they may need in golf equipment or instruction.

    Swing Analysis and fitting

    Joel Hoffman recently took me through the analysis and fitting process. I was very impressed with the facitility and the technology resulting in great feedback. Joel was extemely helpful (but not pushy at all) in helping me reach a selection of new irons. I've already recommended him and the Academy to a friend.

    New to the game

    being new to the game I had no idea there was a facility of this magnitude in the area. the staff was very welcoming and helpful, The equipment on hand was overwhelming. There was no pressure for any particular brand of equipment. The lessons were very professional and extremely helpful...I would highly recommend king par for anyone interested in golf.

    Golf lessons with Kyle

    I usually get 3-4 "tune up" lessons at the start of each season, and this is the first time in all my years golfing that I have felt and seen any real improvement. Kyle has a great way of correcting the problem instead of just creating a shortcut around it like other instructors that I have had. I have learned more in 2 lessons with Kyle than all of the other lessons that I have had combined.

    Club selection for the first time

    Never owning a set of clubs before but wanting to pick up the sport of golf, I was overwhelmed by the hundreds of options out there. Kyle Martin made several suggestions and not the most expensive ones either, he was right on with the first option in both irons and drivers and the tracman numbers proved it as well as my comfort with the new clubs.

    Striving for Excellence

    After about 20 years out of the golf game, I started to get back into the game last year. Being some what rusty, to say the least, I felt I should get a few lessons and get rid of some of my bad habits. After one lesson with Kyle Martin, I can already see the light at the end of the tunnel.

    wanted to get fitted for a driver shaft

    I have a Taylor Made R 7 driver. I hit it well, but not consistantly in play. My misses were both left and right. Joel from Boyne Golf Academy had me hit balls for the monitoring system. He then used the data to hone in on the type of charicteristics in a shaft that would give me the the closest specs. to optimum for spin rate, trajectory, etc. There are usually shafts in many price ranges with similar characteristics, so I was given numerous choices.
