Went to The Wine Butler for the first time on Saturday and the staff were great. The wine was better but it was the help we got and the joking around that made the event an enjoyable afternoon. My first time making my own wine, I don't think I will go back to buying from the LCBO. It worked out to about $4.00 a bottle. The Chilean Merlot I made, although only 10 weeks old, is surprisingly tasty. No red wine / young wine headache for me that normally happens! I also love that there's very little preservatives. I will certainly be back.

I was impressed with the bottling experience at Wine Butler . It is well thought out. The bottle washer rack holds 30 bottles - a whole batch. The bottle filler - fills 4 at a time which is very fast. The staff were present when you needed them and helpful as they could be. A very pleasant experience overall.

It was simple. The Wine Butler knows what they are doing, very experienced and efficient. My wine was in good hands. This week my sister and I bottled wine. Usually we make it at home. It was a great experience!! It took only one hour for 60 bottles. The equipment is great and the young lady there was very helpful to the "first timers". I would highly recommend Wine Butler.

I was very impressed by the whole setup. I've made wine at other establishments before but Wine Butler is certainly the most well organized. From a machine that will wash a whole batch of empty bottles to having 4 heads for actually filling the bottles, racks to lay them on for labeling it was a slick process. Throw in a helpful staff member and we were in and out in no time. I can't report on the taste just yet but, if the process is a guide, I'm betting it will be very good too.

I've bottled twice at the Wine Butler and I would do it again. I like the easy online appointment booking system they use and when you arrive, you're are walked through the process so easily. The staff both times have been friendly, up for a conversation and share enthusiasm about wine bottling. I haven't gone to another bottling company and won't.

Been making wine for many years now. This is a first at The Wine Butler. From where I stand they have taken the best from many other winemaking facilities and combined all into this experience. The bottling process is a good as it gets. Well organized and proper assistance for beginner to novice. Can't comment on the Walla Walla Cabernet/Merlot just bottled other than the clarity, aroma and initial taste pass the initial test. I am sure i will be back for another batch. Ben....

i made my third batch of wine at the wine butler and the experience just gets better and better, just like aged wine!This time i brought two of my kids and we had a production line happening and bottled 60 bottles in 40 minutes labeled and corked. They had a wonderful time and the staff were so inviting, not to mention knowledgeble. I will definietely go back and make more, cause the selection is so great that you need to try evreything.

I was skeptical that the reviews for wine butler were real. We made an amarone and the same night we bottled our wine, we went to a wine party with wine snobs and foodies. Sure enough every one at the party commented on how great the wine was - everyone was shocked when we revealed it was self made and only 6 weeks old. Can't wait to make a batch of white for the summer! Can't wait to taste the amarone after its had a year to age!

Third visit - even better service than the first two visits. Upgraded equipment - loved the new four nozzle filler! Wonderfully helpful young staff - young men helped me bring my bottles in from my car and helped bring out and load the filled bottles back into the car when I was done. Friendly staff. The wine always turns out great. I live in Bowmanville and it is always worth the drive. Value for the money and the experience!

I have made a few batches of wine at different places, but I must say that they were so accommodating and helpful that I will definitely go back. I wanted my wine a little sweeter and they already had sweetened it for me by the time I went to bottle it. Thank you so much for a very positive experience.

Yesterday was our first bottling at the Wine Butler. Their setup is very professional and well organized. The staff were very helpful and we couldn't believe how fast we finished bottling the wine. We were able to start early and had the whole batch done in about 20 minutes. We will definitely be bottling more wine there and tell our friends about their great service. As well the wine is very tasty!

I've now bottled 2 batches at the Wine Butler and my husband has bottled many. We love the quality, price per bottle and the fact that the wine has way less preservatives than store bought wines. The staff is always friendly and helpful and we are in and out in a flash. It is the best way to go for everyday table wine.

I received my Wine Butler experience for Christmas from one of my adult children. They had made wine earlier in the year, also at the Wine Butler and I enjoyed it. The whole experience was great. The staff was very helpful and clear in their directions. We had all four of us bottling, corking and labelling in an assembly line. A fun family outing. I would recommend the Wine Butler.

Service is really great! Everything is confirmed via e-mail saving painful telephone calls and arrangements. Bottling and corking is superfast with three workstations each allowing to bottle 4 bottles at a time. The whole process of 1 batch for 30 bottles took me less than 20 minutes. really pleasant experience. I ordered two more batches on site before I left. Way to go, Wine Butler!

Just finished bottling two batches and we were amazed at how easy it is to bottle, and even more surprised by the quality of the wine - the South African Sauvignon Blanc and the French Pinot Noir were both quite good, even immediately after bottling. I'm already looking forward to coming back again in a few months to start another batch or two!

I purchased a Groupon, and have to say that it would have been worth the full price. I will go back again for sure. They were professional and easy to work with, and both the drop yeast appointment and bottling appointment were on time and took as long as they said it would. The wine itself is doing a little ageing before I can say for sure how much I like it, but I was pleased with the sample I got when bottling.

This was my first experience making wine myself though my parents have been doing it for years. I thought the facility was very organized and the bottling process was simple, streamlined and fast. I made a red so I haven't tasted the final product yet (as they resommend you cellar it for a while) but the sample I had seemed great, looking forward to my first bottle!

Good customer service - I was amazed at 1 woman doing all that work - serving and helping several people at a time. I've never bottled before and had a great time doing it. I brought my brother along because he has done it before - but I didn't need him (only for the ride)! Equipment was easy to operate and area was clean. My brother hasn't bought wine here before and took a brochure for his next purchase.

I have made wine at numerous places and this is by far the best place to make wine. The staff are awesome and helpful with every little detail. The ease and simplicity of making the wine is far superior to any other company. The sterilization of the bottles is just as impressive as the pouring of the wine into the bottles. But of course, the very best part is that the wine tastes delicious!!! Especially, if you can let it age awhile...mmmm, a high quality for a small price

You can taste fruits of your labor wile filling up the bottles and new equipment allowing for filling up 4 bottles at the time speeds up the operation. No disappointments!!!

Every year I make wine f/ grapes, so I am not new to wine making. This time I noticed a special making wine f/ juice and I said why not?! My friend and I made two batches (Shiraz and Cab Sauvignon). The wine butler walked us through the process on fermentation, and then again through bottling. It was a great experience overall and one I recommend especially for beginners. Hope the wine turns out just as greast as the service.

Very impressed by the customer service, cost of the wine and operating hours. I would make another batch there. One thing I would point out is that they are very popular (and fr god reason)and it can be tough scheduling a time to bottle your wine. Another nice aspect is that you can do everything online... A great touch.

This was the first time I have tried making wine and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was helpful throughout the entire process and it was amazing to see and partake in the bottling and corking process. Way cheaper than buying from the LCBO. In terms of the wine, I had a Chilean Malbec which turned out very nicely. Although I would definitely recommend you storing it for a couple of months before opening them as they were initially bottle shocked.

I had a Groupon but they never once made me feel like I wasn't getting the full experience. It was an excellent 1st time make your own wine experience. Bottling was fun. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place. Out of all the homemade wines I've tried this was the best young wine I've ever had. And this was the cheap stuff! I can't wait for it to age. If I didn't just make 30 bottles I'd spring for the good stuff. Next time.

I was impressed by the quality of the equipment, which made the whole process go so much faster, and the friendliness of the fellow who helped me. My Pino Grigio is green but promises good things.I tasted a fellow bottler's red and I'm looking forward to bottling my own. The value cannot be matched at any other DYI. A side benefit was that of sharing a glass of your wine with other customers, in exchange for a taste of theirs. VBery cool place-highly recommended!

Got the opportunity to pick up the 'deal' on one of the coupon sites...and off I went! Super easy, good tasting product! It worked out to about $2.40/bottle (750mL) with the deal...and I have my own bottles. Fill up the rack!! Dropped a white while I was there. Fast, easy, friendly staff. I'm a downtown guy...so the location is the only challenge. For $2.40 a bottle...the relatively short drive was well worth it.

It was a nice experience to have a quick and easy process to bottle my first batch of wine. The bottles are quickly racked and washed. Filling 4 bottles at a time goes fast as well with a simple corking process. A sample taste presented a nice tasting smooth young wine that's sure to be better with age. For 30 minutes and 30 bottles, I think this is a great investment for quality wine at a great prce, so I ordered another batch!

Ii can't comment yet on the quality of the wine as I just bottled my first batch. I can however say that the process was simple, and efficient. The staff are incrediblyy helpful, able to guide and direct. The few sips I had of the "very young" wine suggested I will be satisfied with quality once it has aged so I went ahead and purchased two more batches. We were just able to bottle our first batch of wine! This was a wonderful experience, I really wanted to be able to start the process on my birthday and the great people at the wine butler made that happen. When we went back for bottling they were extremely efficient and friendly. We were a little nervous about how the wine would taste but it was wonderful we have already taken 2 bottles to dinner parties and it has been a hit with everyone who’s tried it!

I can't comment on the taste of the wine yet - that needs to wait for a few months. I will defintely be doing more batches of both red and white wine with the Wine Butler.

The new location is more accessible , the wine consistently good and reasonably priced , and the staff knowledgeable and helpful . Sales volume and customer numbers have sky-rocketed , but service remains personal and attentive . During my disability , they decanted while I corked ; they dollied the cases to my car and loaded them into the trunk . 5 stars and counting !

I just bottled my first batch of wine yesterday and haven't tasted it yet so can't comment on the wine itself. I've been doing this kind of "wine-making" for about 20 years so it's not new to me. The Wine Butler person working with me was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and personable - which made it a very enjoyable process. All equipment seemed very up to date (more so than at my previous provider). And it was fast.

I've done several batches of red, a wonderful Sangria Zinfandel (glorious !!) and two batches of Port, one ruby and a chocolate Port yesterday...both delicious. I can't compliment the quality of the wines enough and the price for such exceptional quality is astounding...so little $$$ for such wonderful pleasure. I've used the Wine Butler on a number of occasions, and gone to one of their parties. I've also tried other wine bottlers in the area. In my view Wine Butler is superior in every respect - sure, the wine isn't "superb" by any absolute standard (go to Vintages for that) but the price/quality ratio is very good, the staff is friendly and informative, and the machinery and bottling experience is excellent. Very highly recommended.

Everything was ready for me and it took just a short bit of time to get two full batches bottled. Next time, I am not going to bother bringing my own bottles, they are a pain to scrape the labels off, and there was mold growing in the bottom of a few of the bottles I brought. Since I can get a 20 cent refund at the Beer store, I will opt for just using clean bottles I can buy there.

i had the opportunity to make to separate baches of red wimne, 1 a Shraiz and the other a Cabarnet. The Wine Butler did a great job getting the wine ready and were prepared when i arrrived to bottle. I was so pleased at the speed that I bottled my wine. I brought my bottles in, had them washed, and was filling them within 5 minutes of entering The Wine Butler. I was helped by one of the employees, and as I filled the bottles, she was corking them, and putting on the foil. I was out of there within 25 minutes. As a first timer for making my own wine I did not know what to expect. Our daughter suggested we try The Wine Butler and I'm so glad we did. The place was clean, and well organized, and the ambience felt like a winery. The staff was helpful, without hovering, and I really had fun bottling my pinot grigio. From the friendly knowledgeable staff to the upbeat music, The Wine Butler delivered by far the best wine making experience I've had. Other ferment-ur-own wine shops don't deliver the service and have actually made me feel "cheap". We bottled our 2 batches of red this week and found the experience easy and pleasant. The wine tastes good and the price is reasonable. Staff is pleasant and helpful. It's a bit of a drive and the traffic in the area is ridiculous but, depending on what products they offer, we will likely buy again. Cute place and very organized.

I just bottled my 1st batch of Australian Shiraz. Wine Butler was professional, well organized, and with lots of appointment times to choose from, I was able to whip across the 401 quickly from Whitby for each visit. The bottling experience was fun and quick thanks to the helpful staff person who assisted me. I sampled the wine at bottling and already it has a great taste. My only regret is that it took me this long to find the Wine Butler. I’ll be making more batches in the future.

Superb customer service is not common these days and these guys know how to do it. Secondly, we love the wine. Tastes great and no chemical hangover the next day. Just completed notting my second batch of wine from The Wine Butler and the experience was very enjoyable where the staff were great and other people bottling their batch were very friendly albeit very focused on finishing their bottling chores. Plus the wine I made this time (Washington State Merlot) seems to be a better flavour than the first batch I made (Chilean Malbec) but even that wine was great. I will definitely be back in a few months to bottle another batch.

The Wine Butler provides excellent service and an on-time schedule. We have tried two wines so far, and the Chilean Malbec was very fine, after ageing for about 6 months. We have just bottled a California Cab-Merlot, and from the first tasting I think it will be quite good after ageing a few months. I do recommend at least the minimum 3 months ageing for reds, and more if you can wait.

I decided to go to the competition to make my next batch as they were offering a special, however, I was sorely dissapointed both in the product and the service I received. I just bottled a batch of Reisling at the Wine Butler's new location. The new product is going to be fabulous. the bottling process was quick and fun, and the customer service was exemplary. I won't go anywhere else to make wine.

This is was my third visit to The Wine Butler and as usual they were a great team. Both the manager Dan and his staff person helped me bottle my two batches in a timely manner. Filling, corking, applying foil and labels to 60 bottles could have taken ages! With their help I was done in 1 1/2 hrs! All the while having great conversation with staff and other customers! It's a great product for a great price and a relaxed, professional environment.

My boyfriend and I went to bottle our first ever batch of wine this weekend and had such a great time! The process is really simple once the Wine Butler experts show you how to use all the fancy equipment. The ambiance is nice and relaxed. We made the Chilean Merlot. It's smooth and light and tastes nothing like the basement brew my father made when I was a kid. We were both really pleased with the whole experience and can't wait to go back to make a Pinot Noir or Cab Sauv!

Wine Butler turned out to be one of the best groupon deals I ever made. Their automated reservation system is very clear to follow, staff at the bottling centre is very friendly. staff is great, arrived 15 minutes early and not a problem they took me in (did not know how to judge traffic). The place is clean and equipment is excellent. too early to tell what the wine is like but I do have a second batch on the go.

Australian Shiraz. I love red wine and I have tried many different kinds and can differentiate good tastes. This Shiraz reminds me Wyndham Bin 555 Shiraz from LCBO. As suggested, keep your wine for at least a day in the basement before drinking. You will definitely feel the difference in taste.

the bottling, labelling and prettying up of everything was great fun - as expected. the wine was very good, considering it costs about $3 a bottle, with the deal. THAT, was unexpected. it certainly differed from experiences i've heard about (at other make-your-own-wines), and from wines i've tasted from those experiences. definitely a "will do this again" affair. thank you!

I went to bottle my first batch of wine, Pinot Noir, which I had started approximately seven weeks previously. I really had no expectations since I've never made wine before but the whole process went perfectly. I was walked through each step by John and everything is set up so that it's foolproof, from the initial bottling to corking and finally to shrink wrapping the bottle tops. I left with my 30 bottles after about 30 minutes and am already looking forward to bottling my next batch.

The quality, range and competitive price of wines offered, along with friendly, helpful service makes the Wine Butler a good place to go to make your own wines. The new location is further away for us, but having tried other wine making places, I'd say it is worth the effort, since I've never failed to get a good tasting impressive wine.

We have found the wine from the Wine Butler to be of very good quality. The staff are friendly and the new location while farther for us, it is a larger space. I would say that is because the business has grown and they need more space. Deduction, people come back for more...like us.

Choosing my batch of wine took me 5 mins and coming back to bottle it took me 30mins. Browsing the isles of the liquor store takes me much longer and I can guarantee you that I won't leave with 30 bottles. Not only was making my wine a good value for the money but it's time efficient and the experience is also a good one.

Arrived 20 minutes before opening on the hottest day of the year. I was allowed into the store right away and proceeded with the washing, bottling etc. The staff was helpful, professional and relaxed. Upon leaving I received the coupons for the next batch and I ordered one the same day by phone. Dan was extremely helpful.

I've made wine at home in the past and the process is time consuming. The wine making experience at Wine Butler was very efficient and produced a quality product. I asked that the Reisling I made be just off dry and it is perfect. Right out of the carboy it is quite drinkable. A very enjoyable experience overall.

My husband and I had recently bottled a batch to give as gifts at our daughters baptism. It was a fun experience to be a part of the production proccess. I could only imagine what our antsisters had to go throu centeries ago and how far we've come over the years because this was fast and very easy to do.

We bottled our first 2 batches yesterday, with many more to follow. Very easily done. Efficient, knowledgeable, friendly & courteous the staff members. We tasted the wine & sweetened it a tad. Absolutely delicious! I luv the variety of choices in the colours of the bottle seals. The finished product looked professionally done & I'm getting great ideas for weddings & parties to personalize my wines & save a large bundle. Expect us again at The Incredible Wine Buttler! Cheers!
