Immense help
Barb has been of immense help, providing me with the tools to improve my marriage; help me to see things objectively; and find a way to be the complete person I've always wanted to be.

A different approach
At the end of the second couples session Barbara had already shown me more insight about my relationship than I had gained from years of counselling with others. She has a very strong presence during our sessions, and uses that strength to move thing along. I am glad we chose her...

What a gem!
Barbara continues to provide insightful support, with a charm and candidness that inspires transformation. She has guided me through changes I didn't always think were possible. I always feel the change from within. And most importantly, her genuinity comforts me; her work is anything but cold.

Very welcoming
Today was Day 1 for me, and I've not done any counseling in many years. Barbara was very warm and welcoming and I felt very comfortable and encouraged by her easy manner. I like the way she wants to approach our sessions, and feel hopeful about making some changes in my life, with her help.

Barbara is amazing!
I have been meeting with Barbara on and off for the last 15 years. Everytime I see her...her wisdom and true compassion for helping others is clearly visiable. couples counciling session
We met Barbara after finding her on the web.. we liked her energy, style and mannerism..she was interested in both of us, asked great questions, and showed caring while directing the session to help us stay focused! plus I really like her online schedualing..how handy is that!!

Amazing
Barbara has been the reassuring voice in my head since I started seeing her about four months ago. She's an incredible listener, and pushes me to examine the role I play in my own life. She has an easy, relaxed - but professional - style that is a good fit for me. I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for positive change.

Letting Go
Barbara has counseled me through my darkest time of being a parent of a child with a drug addiction. She helped me realize that I have the tools to survive within myself, and truly the only person I can take care of is myself. She guided, and supported me in making clear expectations for our home, and gave me the guidance to follow through if these were not met. I am now celebrating my beautiful 19 yr. old that has been clean for 10 months. I have learned to let go.

1st visit
Barbara is very kind, funny and a great listener who asks questions that will make you think! Def. recommend her services! The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing.

Highly recommend
I have worked with many therapists in the past and Barb is by far the best. From my first meeting with her I knew it was going to be a good fit. She is very caring, an incredible listener, never judges, and a wealth of resources. I have worked with her as an individual, as a couple, and a family. I have learned so much about myself and able to face my challenges with her support.

A fan of Familyworks
I have been very pleased with Familyworks. Barbara's direct and thoughtful style, along with her "systems" approach, have helped me see new points of view and better understand my family's dynamics. I've really enjoyed the work we've done together.
