    Great Massage

    I have been a client for 1 year. David helped me through the injuries from a car accident. I feel David's technique and skills helped me with my recovery. He keys into the painful places and improves my neck and back. David is terrific and I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

    Highly Recommend

    David is a good listener and worked wonders on my tight neck and back muscles. He has a unique form of trigger point pressure massage that worked very well for me. Not painful as I was previously used to and the good effects have lasted longer than they usually do with other LMTs. I will definitely be going back on a regular basis.

    Amazing

    David truly is a master at massage. I always feel so much better after I see him and have a much more positive outlook on the world. I'm glad he is so conveniently located because it makes it easier to see him.

    Good

    David is a good massage therapist, you can tell he genuwinely cares for all of his clients. He has a unique flow to his massage and good at finding problem area's. I was pleased with the massage and would go back to relax.

    Really Great Massage

    With David it is great getting massages because I always leave feeling refreshed and better than when I started - plus he's a great guy to talk to and it's easy to feel comfortable with him. Anyone would be lucky to have a massage from David.

    Gentle yet Effective

    David has an intuitive sense, he is able to gently find and work the sources of pain without the normal painful process I'm accustomed to. I was so pleased I bought the 4 for 3 package.

    released a painful knot!

    David did a great job relieving a very painful knot! I was barely able to flex my foot and by the next day it was a distant pain! He did a great job working different points with massage pressure and stretching. I would most definitly recommmend him.

    Fantastic calming energy

    My experience with David was amazing. He takes a very flexible and holistic approach to treatment. His intuitions about the needs of his clients are spot-on. I’ve spoken with two other people who have gone to him and the techniques he used were different on each of us, yet they were exactly what each of us needed. I highly recommend David.

    David is a very intuitive and talented person. His gifted hands seem to be led to troubled areas on his patients bodies where they will deliver healing magic. I have been several times and each time I have left renewed and amazed at the depth of his work. I highly recommend!

    Would Love to See Again

    I store a lot of tension in my back, especially around my neck and shoulders. After a extremely stressful two-weeks, I made an appointment after reading great reviews about David. I can say that I received one of the best massages I've ever had because he was very thorough and a great listener. I hope to be able to schedule another appointment before my move to a different state.

    Absolutely the best

    Needing a massage after my 6 hour plane ride to Portland, I was lucky enough to be sent to David by the concierge of my hotel. Oh how lucky was I? As a busy professional and mother of five sons, I believe frequent bodywork is essential for a well-balanced life, so I get a lot of massages. Some LMTs are good at their job, some are great; David is gifted. In 60 minutes, he gave me the best massage of my life. He is definitely the only Portland therapist for me.

    The best LMT in PDX

    David has excellent energy and a powerfully intuitive touch. He works with you to figure out the best and most appropriate pressure for your body. I've been getting massages for chronic pain for 20 years, and in cities such as Paris, London, NYC, and SF, and David is one of the best LMT's I've seen.

    Birthday massage

    Wow! What a wonderful birthday present to get a relaxing massage from David. In addition to just being incredibly relaxing, he improves the feeling in my feet. They have abnormal sensation issues, due to MS, and David works miracles with them. I actually feel better after a session with him. There is nothing or anyone else I have found that provides relief.

    Excellent massage

    I've had many massages over the years, and the one I enjoyed with David was exceptional. He has a calm, balanced energy and his hands are strong, skilled and nurturing. As a new female client, I felt totally at ease in his presence and would wholeheartedly recommend him to my friends and family.     Skilled, Friendly, Intuitive Massge Therapist

    David is professional about his work and still keeps a relaxing comfortable atmosphere in his studio. I had a whiplash injury from my car accident and limited range of motion in one of my shoulders. He has greatly helped in my recovery. I have full range of motion in my shoulder again and my neck and back pain are less intense and far less frequent than before. I also really appreciate his flexibility in working on short notice or changing appointment times for me. I highly recommend David.

    Professional, Knowledgeable Massage Therapist

    David was friendly, knowledgeable, easy to converse with and a good listener. He focused on the areas I asked him to work on and he gave me an excellent deep tissue massage. If I lived in Portland instead of Denver, I would definitely continue massages with David.

    Amazing

    David was really great. I work a stressful job and commute 8 miles by bike 4 days a week. I left feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated. Days later I still feel more relaxed than I have in weeks! I plan to keep a standing appointment once a month! Merci Beaucoup David!

    I recieve massages all the time and David was one of the best relaxing massages ive ever recieved. Usually I have deep tissue work done but I needed to feel restored and David did an amazing job! I highly recommend him AND for such an affordable cost! $45!

    Yes, Do it

    This was my first massage from David Emery. I read his website and the reviews--have to say I was not disapointed. His intuitive touch, combination of skills including some new to me--all extremely positive. I feel great! I definitely will be a repeat customer. My advice to new clients--feeling is believing. Do it!

    A really terrific massage

    David is a great massage therapist. I stress therapist here. David is intuitive, professional, very courteous and has an extraordinary ability to locate and alleviate pain. David is also a kind and generous soul and makes everyone feel at ease. I strongly recommend David as a massage therapist. So much so, that I have become a regular client.

    Do it.

    I found David randomly on Yelp. It's always a bit akward walking into an unknown massage situation....but his friendly demeanor put me at ease quickly. I found him to be extremely intuitive..seemed to know just what my body needed. It is obvious that David is passionate about massage and is genuine in his desire to cure what ails you! Go see him..you will be happy.

    David is an excellent massage therapist. He was very attentive, understanding and was able to soothe my sore spots in no time.     One of the Best in Portland

    Very simply put, David is one of the best in Portland. He has a very intuitive touch (most therapists don't), and knows exactly what my body needs. I've been "shopping" around for the last year since my old therpaist moved to Bend, and after trying a half-dozen other massage therapists David will be my new go-to guy. Try him once, and you'll understand why his reviews are uniformly great across all the review websites.

    A wonderful experience.

    Seeing David was an excellent experience. The massage felt amazing, as he provided the perfect balance of touch and pressure. David also had a great attitude and was easy to talk to, which made me feel very comfortable. I hope to go back in the near future and highly recommend him.

    Great massage, relaxed wonderful attitude, .....

    David's massages are superb, he focuses on trouble spots and has an uncanny way of zoning right in on places in need of his healing touch! Not your woo woo massage experience, he is all about making you feel better, more flexible and pain free. I wish I could afford to go at least once a week. David is amazing!

    An Excellent Combination of Techinque, Touch and Intuition

    David has the rare combination of having expert technique, a natural gift of touch and an inherent awareness and intuition that can't be taught in schools. All these things make him an excellent choice for a variety of bodywork needs. Head, Hands and Heart, what could be better in a body-worker and healer! He is easily worth twice the price! He has my wholehearted recommendation.

    Relaxing and Easy

    David gave a great message to me. He knows his craft well as it shows with how I feel 24-hours later. I liked how we integrated stretching into the session. I was having some muscle issues and the stretching helped increase range of motion. A very talented in-touch healer.

    Great Massage!

    David is my type of therapist. He is strong and can go very deep. Not too many therapists do pressure point massage in this city, but David is a master of it. He is professional and friendly. I feel relaxed throughout the session. It was a comfortable and pleasant experience to have a massage by David.
