Great Experience!
I had a great experience with Lisa and her makeup artist. They were both very professional and made me very comfortable. They even helped me pick out outfits that are suitable for what I am pursuing. Lisa is the best. Period.
I recently drove up from LA to get my headshots done by Lisa. I'd heard great things, and I'd seen some of her excellent work before, but she vastly outperformed my expectations. She and her make-up artist manage to create perfect, natural moments by just being engaging, then Lisa captures the best of them—the best of you—on film. Between the session and the shots themselves, I've never felt more prepared for my career. I'm proud to walk into auditions with her work. I'll be back for round two!

Awesome photographer!

If you don't look good after a Lisa Keating photo session , consult a plastic surgeon . In all seriousness Lisa is simply the best at creating a great mood in lighting , make up , atmosphere and getting you up for the shoot. Always fun to work with and her results are supreme. Head Shots
I took my 2 teenagers in for their head shots and Lisa and her dog Happy put them at ease immediately. Lisa and her make up artist Trish were very professional yet friendly and kind. The kids said the experience was fun and Lisa made them feel completely natural in front of the camera. Her studio is in a great location and her back drops are gorgeous. I would highly recommend her.

Fantastic!
Lisa gave great clothing suggestions for my young daughter's headshots. The shoot was fun and relaxing (and we loved Happy the dog!). Lisa is great!

Yes, if I had one sentence, Lisa is an amazing person and an awesome photographer. It was my first photo shoot and I didn't know what to expect. From the moment I walked in and she greeted me with a big smile to the end, I had a great time shooting with Lisa. She was very warm and brought the best out of me. I've heard Lisa's name being tossed around by everyone from friends, colleagues, professors, and even the big agencies in San Francisco. Needless to say, I was a little intimidate going in for headshots, but that fear quickly melted away. Lisa brings out the best in people and can capture it in her lens. She's an artist. A Very Relaxed Shoot

Look like a million for a whole lot less
Lisa Keating has a well-earned reputation for top-notch work. Shooting with her at her Berkeley studio recently was a real treat. She and Tricia (makeup artist/shoot assistant) kept me looking good and feeling great. Lisa's well versed in the favored headshot styles in both the San Francsico and Los Angeles acting markets. And if you can't smile with her sweet, well-behaved dog Happy on the set, seek immediate medical attention. I highly recommend her and would happily shoot with her again.

Do it.
You need an ACTOR's headshot. Why waste energy briefing other photogs on what exactly a headshot is and is not? Skip that, go to Lisa. She knows as much as you about what CDs are looking for, and MORE when it comes to Bay Area CDs & talent reps. She may even know what CDs are looking for better than the CDs do themselves. I suspect she's not behind trends because she SETS the trend. What could there possibly be to consider? Do it. Just go. It's the right thing to do. You know I'm right, now go.

Fantastic photographer & makeup for the camera-shy!
As a general rule, I fear, dislike and avoid being photographed. Having worked with another photographer - who produced unfriendly shots that didn't look like me - I feel I have good reason for my strong feelings on this issue. I was prepared for another difficult shoot this time, but was delighted by both the process and the shots I've seen. Lisa has a gift with both the camera and her subject. I arrived an hour earlier and although dizzy and noxious, I wanted to have some headshots done as a way to remember my 31 yrs old _ LOL! Photographer Lisa and make up artist Mikaela were great, creating a fun and relaxing zone so that I could show the best of my piano smile LOL again! Once I heard that there is a difference between professional realization & sucess in your profession. I agree as any job well done is rewarding per se! Lisa & Mikaela have it all!

The rumors were true!
I was recommended to Lisa by my agent. Actually she gave me two photographers names, but I loved the look of Lisa's website and photos. I booked an appointment for two days later, which was extremely convenient! On my way there was an accident on the freeway so I called and Lisa was VERY understanding. When I went to do the shoot I didn't know it would be like going over a friends house. It's a very cool place to hang out and have your pictures taken. When we first met we sat on the couch and went over everything about the session. I was really relaxed and comfortable. We talked about Italy and restaurants In North Beach. When it came time to shoot she kept it fun and lively and put me at ease, while doing a professional job. I was very happy with the whole experience.

Lisa Keating's name was always mentioned.whenever the subject of head schots came up. I went to her web site and was quite impressed.
