    Good experience

    Only had time for one lesson before our wedding. Nick was patient and positive and went well over an hour to show us what to do from start to finish. I recommend him highly.

    Val is Great!

    My fiance and I are learning to impress our wedding crowd. Val is doing a great job teaching us some killer moves that will go far beyond just our wedding!

    Wonderful dance less experience

    We have never taken a dance class together and Val was amazing. She helped us feel so comfortable and just have fun. We would recommend dance lessons with Val to any couple (or anyone interested in learning for that matter)!

    Fun class

    It is our first time taking first dance class. Though my finance and I are both not very coordinated people, we enjoyed the learning and the interaction with Nick. He is funny and patient, working with us to figure out our style and what we prefer. In total, it was a great experience and we will keep our class going!

    Great Dance Instructor

    If you are feeling awkward on the dance floor, or want to tune up your dance steps a bit - Val is a terrific coach. She assumes you know nothing and works from there. Gives you meaningful tips that help you improve - one step at a time. This is GREAT fun for a couple looking to spend some time together learning something new - you get a fantastic value in spending time with Val. We did a 10-lesson package and have laughed and learned with her - she's terrific.

    Went the extra mile for us

    I was getting married in 2 weeks and had 2 hours for dance lessons. The amount of input and creative ideas that my fiancee and I had in so little time is amazing. We went from panicking with no idea of where to start to having something original to practice on. Warm-hearted thank you Val !

    Great energy - can't wait for the next lesson

    Val not only made us feel comfortable, but also generated an atmosphere of fun and excitement. She spent the first part of the lesson getting to know us and then helped us choose a song for our first dance. Rather than immediately jumping into a choreographed routine, we spent the rest of the time feeling the music and moving. It was easy and relaxed and made us feel more confident about being able to dance in front of a crowd at our wedding. We cannot wait for our second lesson.

    Great teacher and very personable!!

    Val really made me feel comfortable and spent a lot of time really getting to know me and my goals in our first meeting. She then compared my strengths (martial arts and entrepreneurship) used my knowledge in these area's to transfer over to dance. She has a really cool studio too!

    Dance for Synchro Swimmers

    Val took on the task of training a group of 8 young girls.. It was Lucy's birthday. The girls arrived shortky before 2pm, The Dance Loft was ready and setup with "Burlesque" playing in the background and playing on the giant wall of her amazing dance loft. We left them at it for 50minutes. When we came back, the girls were dancing one of the best routines. Val had transformed the girls. And they had great fun doing it. Thanks Val and Josh for giving Lucy and her friends a great experience

    Great Dance Lesson

    Val is a really great dance instructor - we had such a great time! She connected to us on a much more personal level than other instructors my fiance and I have had. She really gets it...we could not recommend her more highly.

    We only had one lesson with Eldon so far, but we had a great time. He's patient, upbeat and fun. We are looking forward to our future lessons!

    First Dance Lesson

    Zoe was a great teacher. My fiance and I had no dancing skills when we went in for a lesson and we both felt much more comfortable with the idea of dancing in front of everyone at our wedding after the lesson. I recommend taking a class from Zoe!

    Totally worth it

    I would highly recommend Val. She is fun, energetic, humorous and teaches in a way that makes it simple and easy to understand - always the sign of a good teacher.

    first dance success!

    Not only did we have fun at every lesson and left feeling in love and ready to get married - we nailed our first dance! (and had a wonderful bride/father groom/mother dance too. Highly recommended.

    Val Cunningham/Zoe - Great Dance Instructors!

    Took a one hour dance lesson for my first dance and Zoe was able to show us a dance, get us dancing and throw in some extra moves. Highly recommended.

    Awesome!

    I've taken dance lessons with Val a couple of times now and it's always been an amazing experience. Right now my fiancee and I are working on our wedding first dance and Val was able to cut right through our stress and uncertainty to help us come up with a plan and actually have fun while we were at it. Highly recommended!

    Bachelorette party - so much fun!

    I recently organized a bachelorette party and included an hour-long dance class for 7 as a part of the fun. Val taught us a flash mob dance the bride had preselected from YouTube and we had a blast! Val was a lot of fun and kept things moving (even when we dissolved into laughs). I highly recommend Val!!

    Zoe & Val are great teachers!

    My fiancé and I have been working with Zoe on our first wedding dance over the past two months and she has been incredibly helpful. I have three left feet and not rhythm, yet Zoe has me dancing like a pro now (almost)! She is patient and constructive and has made the process painless and dare I say fun. My fiancé and I have a ton of confidence now and we welcome the opportunity to showcase our new talent at our upcoming wedding. We highly recommend Zoe and Val for you dancing needs!

    Inspired!

    One thing that is immediately clear is that when you visit Val you are with someone truly committed to their work. I came for my first session with my girlfriend yesterday, and we both enjoyed the interaction and the teaching...planning on coming back!

    Professional through and through

    They say....."when the student is ready, the teacher will appear". I came to Val for lessons and gained so much more. Her positive energy is infectious and inspiring. After our first series I gained the confidence to venture off and try salsa and burlesque on my own in a group setting through different dance companies. However, the quality of instruction wasn't as good as Val's so I have recently come back to Val for help with choreography. Val puts the "pro" in professional.

    Great time...thanks Val!

    I purchased lessons for my wife's 30th birthday. We had our first lesson with Val last Saturday, and she truly delivered! The entire experience was better than we could have expected. Her persona and teaching style are so natural and very welcoming for new students like my wife and I. We really hit it off and are very excited for our next lesson this week. Thanks Val!

    Man Learns Salsa, Woman Swoons

    My wife is an avid salsa dancer, and has been after me for years to get dancing lessons so we can go out together. Val made it so much fun, and we connected with her immediately. I already feel better about getting on the dance floor and She is a wonderful teacher and a wonderful person, and we can't wait to see her again!

    Retiree finds his wild side

    Excellent first lesson with Val. She listened carefully to my goals, assessed what my strengths and weaknesses were, and then gave me very specific things to do which led to immediate improvement. She got me to loosen up my body and be flexible (hard for me to do). It was fun!

    A Real Treat

    A Miracle worker. We came in knowing nothing but what song we wanted to dance to for our wedding. Val worked with us step by step and made us feel extremely comfortable the whole time. She learns her clients inside and out and is a true pleasure to work with! Anyone should be honored to work with her!!!! SOOOO FUN!!!

    Fantastic teacher

    Val is excellent! She is full of great ideas and really knows a lot about how to teach any personality or any talent. My fiance and i have learned a lot about each other both on and off the dance floor. SO MUCH FUN! I will highly recommend her!

    Wonderful.

    Val is a truly gifted teacher. We've had a wonderful time learning to dance with her – her cheerful energy is infectious. She loves what she teaches, she loves it when you get something right, and she is unfailingly patient when you need more time or more help. She's able to suggest just the right way of thinking about a step, the music, or a problem to get you to through it. I can't believe how much we've learned in just a few short lessons!

    i have had many private instructors and val is one of the best..she instinctively knows what to focus on, all those finesse technique details.. you dont just learn steps, you learn to maximize your skills
