Mindy looks Beautiful again
I moved to the lower East side recently and had not kept up with Mindy's grooming. She was matted and unkempt looking which is not usual for us. Ralph restored her beauty with a gentle skilled touch. We will be back regularly. So glad to have foumd such a good groomer so close by

Ralph was very professional and courteous. He took great pride in his work on my two Yorkies. Prince and Princess looked like two different Yorkies then when I bought them to Ralph. My baby looks cute
I have been very pleased with Ralph's grooming. He is gentle with my dog, does a great job and has him ready when he says he'll be finished, unlike the fancier salons that kept my dog 5 hours or more. I'll stick with Ralph!

Ralph is a great person. From the first visit that i took Max to him he has been nothing but nice, and very professional. He does a great job, the price is right, and very close to home. Max always looks and smells great after every cut. I have recommended Ralph to other people and they love his services.

Im very glad I took my puppy Max to Ralph. I got a text reminder early in the morning and another one when my puppy was ready to be picked up. Max looks adorable with his summer cut!! Ralph was also very friendly with my 8 yr old daughter who is very talkative!! I would recommend Ralph to anyone!!!!

The first time I took my dog to Ralph, he notice that she may have mistreated by a groomer because of her behavior towards him. He showed her love and affection and she's been a changed dog . She's always happy to see him and I'm very please with the job he does with her and I would recommend him to anybody who loves there dog.

Great job on grooming
This was my first visit to him with my dog and he did a wonderful job. I have a maltese, he cut the hair out his face nice and neat and he gave him a fabulous cut. For $45 it was very good compared to the regular groomer and milo smelled so good. I will definitely send my dog back it is well worth it.

Fantastic job with my cat!
Rafael did a great job trimming my cat's nails. He was really meticulous and it only took about 10 minutes. He didn't have change for our bill at the moment so he actually walked over to the supermarket with us to get change--great customer service! He was also just great with my cat, kept her calm, etc. I'll definitely be back with my cat!

Best Groomer!
My husband and I both agree that finding Grooming4Less is one of the best things we did for our dog. She always looked so healthy and clean after an appointment. She would smell nice too! Ralph is professional, kind and very patient with both us and our dog. He would welcome us to wait while he groomed her, even putting a movie on for us. He also tried to teach how us to keep our dog from getting too matted between grooming appointments. He is very affordable as well. Take your dog here!

Matted Dallas needed attention . . . and got it gently!!
This lil rescue (Dallas) wasn't even my dog. He was being cared for by a friend/neighbor and I offered to walk him, house him while the owner was working long hours. I grew very fond of Dallas and noticed that his coat and nail were in need of attention!! Trying not to be to pushy I suggested that Dallas should be groomed. I had been looking for a groomer for my Poodle/Maltese puppy Goose and came across grooming4less via the web. Ralph the proprietor was pleasant and professional. My 2 year old pup had not been groomed in a year and his coat had become SEVERELY matted. Ralph was able to remove all of the matted fur and give goose a fresh start. I anticipated a steep surcharge and extended time due to the condition of goose's fur but that was not the case. I am very happy with the groom and will use Ralph again.

My Shih Tzu's new best friend!
I am a first time customer of Grooming4Less, he is very experienced and gentle with my Shih Tzu Jojo who is very sensitive with new groomer (his regular groomer in Sweden) and I do not want to send him to Petco and those factory groomer! My dog looking so happy and handsome after the grooming while I waited in living room with a/c and cable TV; now that's what I call customer service for both dog and human! haha...I will choose Grooming4Less next time for sure!!

Fantastic! Totally Worth It!
So professional and nice. Hands down the best groomer we've ever used. It was a little hard to find, but still worth it, especially for the price! We've paid three times as much for a groomer he did so much better than any we've ever used and is very quick! Under one hour!

This last grooming was the 4th one for my Maltese dog Cudd;es. Since I have a handicap I love the at home service Rafael provides! Also Cuddles is so much more relaxed being in this familiar surroundings. Rafael is so gentle with handling Cuddles that it does not stress ihim out. Rafael is warm frendly and very proffessional and has the patience when it comes to handling my Cuddles. He always gets the puppy cut and when he's finished gettong groomed looks like a puppy at 8 years!

Took in a pretty matted Shih-Tzu rescue, and R. was SO sweet with her, he was honest and told me she should be shaved down for summer..and he would help with her growing out over time.
I have had dogs groomed at a salon for more than twice the price- and R's results were the same as far as otcome, and BETTER as far as treatment of the dog!! As a rescuer, I will keep comming back, and as a dog "mom" there is no other option!

I am a returning customer. Rafael is wonderful with my girl lovey. She looks beautiful and smells delicious, and most of all she is so happy. Lovey comes home all she wants to do is play, eat her cookies and treats. This means so much to us because before when Lovey was groomed at the salon she always came home so sad and did not eat for 2 days. I love the whole setup Rafael, it is just perfect!

Fantastic job, rave review. Westley looks, and smells, wonderful. The job was completed on time, the location was fairly easy to locate and Rafael was very nice and obviously has a way with animals, and the price was right. Ralph has groomed both my dogs before but I met him for the first time this weekend - I have to say, you can tell he is very conscientious in handling your dog, as well as keeping you (the customer) satisfied. He is also very flexible - I had some time constraints and was willing to work with me, no hassle, no fuss - plus he did a GREAT job grooming them. Great guy, great grooming, great price - can't beat it!!

In the past i have taken her to Petco and I am sure they don't take the time he did with Snoopy. This is the secound time Ralph has groomed my Mambo. I What can I say Ralph's got game. He is a natural with dogs. The ability to calm a dog when he is excited and nervous as my dog is was great. Ralph does amazing work! I was so nervous to bring Milo for his first visit, with a fear of bringing him to someone new. Milo gets very anxious when in a new environment. My brother's Persian cat gets the best treatment in Grooming4Less. Groomer Rafael is truly a kind and professional individual.Cat purred when Rafael worked with him. It is very impressed with Rafael's hard work, detail oriented and excellent skill. He is so patient...Our Persian was in Petco(union square) and other private business. Nothing can compare to Rafael--Best service and much cheaper price. We feel blessed to find Grooming4Less, hoping Rafael will always be there for us!!

Poochie was so matted...Rafael indeed is a great groomer, he took his time...at times Poochie got a little rambunctious but Rafael talked to him and he calmed down...my grand-daughter and niece accompanied me, it was like if we were in our own home, watching tv...me drinking coffee and they eating bagels...if your looking for a caring, professional person to groom you dog...make an appointment with GROOMING4LESS...you will not be disappointed...(this is not a payed endorsement) Thank you again.

My dogs have been visiting Ralph Roman (Grooming4Less) for over 1 year. I have referred him to numerous of friends. He is kind, gentle, beyond professional, reasonable. It's a quite convenient for us to have him in the neighborhood. Wonderful experiences since the beginning is what he has offered to me and my dogs. In the past, I had bad experiences with groomers, where they had beaten my dogs. I am confident Ralph takes care of them. He's amazing!!!!

Amazing Grace says...
Rafael took such great care of my little Maltese. She had matting from running the park so had to be cut fairly short...and thankfully Rafael made her look adorable anyway! I highly recommend Grooming 4 Less because it's inexpensive and the services is excellent. I was really nevouse about getting my dog's fur trimmed because I was afraid he woudn't look as cute after. Rafael listened to my fears and suggestions and the result was wonderful. My dog still looks cute even with a shorter coat.

Great job with my pom/poodle. After having bad experiences with groomers and pet salons, I'm convinced having someone in your home and in your dog's environment is the way to go. Ralph is very patient and knows what he's doing. Would highly recommend.

Great groomer at reasonable rate!
Ralph did a fantastic job on my Maltese. In the five-min walk back to the subway station, he received compliments twice! I am really very happy with the grooming my dog received, at such a reasonable rate. Ralph is very polite and gentle. I also appreciated his hospitality to the waiting owner. Ralph did an excellent job. I had groom both of my dogs, Sadie a Cocker Spaniel who was extremely matted. And Punk a mixed breed puppy. He was extremely patient especially with Sadie who was not a happy camper. Punk was much easier, due to Ralph's calm demeaner. He made me and my daughter feel very comfortable in his home, he made me feel like I was in the home of a friend. I will be singing his praises to anyone who has a dog. My neighbors who are also pet owners were very impressed.

Rafael did an outstanding job on my dog Mambo a Yorkie.
He connected with Mambo right away. He was able to make Mambo very comfitable which allowed Rafael to do his job without the drama. Rafael is very professional in his work and will ask what you want done not just do whatever he thinks looks good on your pet. I will reconmend Grooming4Less to all my dog owner friends and will use them again. Did I mention that the price is right.

Rafael is fabulous
Caring, kind and great at what he does, Rafael is the best groomer I've ever met. My Maltese puppy, Spartacus, was incredibly matted and difficult, but Rafel handled it all beautifullly. Also, he proved caring and knowledgable about his runny eyes, and is the first pet professional I've met (finally) who knows the truth and didn't recommend Angel Eyes: that it is dangerous to give your dog antibiotics like this, simply to improve their appearance.

Outstanding service without the inflated NYC prices!
I have tried a few groomers in the city and am very impressed by Rafael's attention to detail, professional set-up, and very fair pricing! He even brushed my Shih-tzu's teeth! Ralph is Pawfect!
I have a 2 year old Pomeranian and have searched all over the New York tri state area for a good and inexpensive dog groomer. I thought I found one, but that meant I had to travel an hour to get there and then wait around for hours until he was done. It wasn't until last month that I came across Ralph's flyer, I was a little skeptical, but gave Ralph a chance. Ralph is great, not only is he near me, but very flexible, inexpensive and does a fabulous job!

We used grooming4less for the first time on 2/27/10. We were very satisfied with the groomer, Ralph. We highly recommend Ralph (in fact, we've already done so!) He was very patient with our skittish yorkie. It was a much more pleasant experience that we've had with other, more expensive grooming places. The convenience of having Ralph come over was great, too!

Ralph provides an affordable option for mobile grooming. I was at first hesistant due to the old addage, you get what you pay for. Ralph did a tremendous job on our two toy poodles. His grooming is on par with the more expensive pet spas in the city at a fraction of the cost.

Ralph did a wonderful job. He took the time and consulted with me before he started and made sure I was going to be happy with the results and I was! Bijou (my shih-tzu mix) looked beautiful - just like a puppy. My appointment started a bit later than was scheduled but I was in no rush so it was really no problem. I totally understand because he takes his time to ensure your pup looks wonderful. Just like waiting for my own haircut appt. :) Will definitely go back and I highly recommend!

Cats hate to have their nails clipped. Even worse, they hate to be stuffed in their crates and dragged to a strange place to have it done. So having Ralph come to my house was perfect. And he was extremely patient with my one cat who is very shy and afraid of new people. I can't bear the idea of ever going back to the old way. Thank you Ralph!

A lifesaver...literally
Somehow in the shuffle of the past few months, my shih-tzus coat has been pretty unforgivably neglected. While the pup was in worse condition than Rafael expected and took longer than he'd anticipated, he didn't tack on additional charges or complain. He just gave my Chewy the best groom ever, all in the comfort of our home. He even offered to give my other dog, a pit bull/lab mix a complimentary tooth brush.
An experience to recommend.

"Raphael did a great job on my little poodle mix Buddha. He was on time and very professional. His sensitive way of dealing with my dog was just perfect. Buddha looks like a movie star and I am hoping he will be able to get a job and support me now that he looks so good.

The best experience I have had
I have never had the experience I had with Ralph. My dog was rescued and is very nervous. Before grooming him, Raplh formed a bond with the dog. He was calm and allowed him to get to work. My dog was matted pretty badly, and he was able to save the look of the dog. You can truly tell he cares for animals and not money. I recommend him and will be a faithful customer
