After three weeks, my pain levels are lower. And somehow my stress level is lower too. Joanna really listens to what I'm saying -- not just the words out of my mouth but also various (to me) mysterious signals from my body. I didn't expect acupuncture to be so helpful, or so relaxing, but I'm glad I got talked into it.

I have back pain and have great luck with acupuncture. It keeps me from having to have spinal injections. Joanna listens very carefully to everything you have to say, and is very kind and respectful. I do wish my insurance paid some on acupuncture, but people, its still worth it! This girl knows her stuff!

I went to Joanna for the first time this week. I was not sure what to expect, as I had never had acupunture before. She was very very kind and explained many things to me before she began the therapy. I felt so relaxed and knew I was in good hands. It was a wonderful and enlightening appointment. I am going back next week , and am looking forward to it !

I had been suffering with asthma symptoms and coughing spasmodically for weeks which kept me (and my wife) from sleeping. IAfter a recent treatment with Joanna I slept all night with no coughing at all and feel much better. After trying inhalers, steroids and antibiotics without relief, this really helped. Money well spent.

No matter what I may be experiencing when I walk in,Joanna always makes me feel better. I appreciate her knowledge and how she can relate it as it pertains to you. I find her sessions relaxing as well as healing. I know I will be better when I leave her office.

I am seeing Joanna for hip and shoulder problems and have noticed improvement after just a couple of visits. What I was most impressed with this last time was that I had mentioned my digestive system being out of whack and by the time I left there I was fine and have been since and have had more energy. Joanna is very knowledgeable and I appreciate how she really listens to the patient's concerns.

I inadvertently pulled my periformis muscle in lower back and thigh doing too much activity in the yard. By using special needles for deep tissues, she provided immediate relief that several weeks of physical therapy hadn't touched. I've been going to Joanna for over 8 years for a variety of issues as they arise. Her competent techniques and ability to tune into my specific needs are worth the 100 mile round trip I make to seek out her healing services.

I first learned about acupuncture and Joanna Linden eight years ago when my daughter was suffering from chronic pain due to endometriosis. Acupuncture was very helpful for her in reducing both pain and stress. In recent years, I have gone each spring for 3-4 acupuncture sessions to help me deal with allergies. I generally have severe symptoms for 6-8 weeks, which have caused me sleepless nights and even loss of work; however, since starting acupuncture, my allergy symptoms are mild.

I have been in treatment with Joanna for more than four years. I originally sought help for arthritis in my right knee which had left me barely able to limp along. I am now walking easily with no pain or limp and the knee issue is all but forgotten. I really appreciate that acupuncture treats me as a whole person, not just a knee. Joanna is intelligent, fun, sensitive and caring. She is definitely a healer of the highest calibre. I plan to continue seeing her as part of good self care.

A year ago, I moved 55 miles south of Waterville and decided to try to locate an acupuncture office closer to my new residence. I was disappointed in my experiences and have decided to return to Waterville Acupuncture, despite the long distance to drive. Joanne is knowledgeable, sensitive to individual needs and produces results. I can speak highly enough of using her services and recommend her highly to others.
