Great experience!

Very helpful. I learned a lot and was particularly aided with APA citation style. The visit allowed me to see things about my paper that I had never noticed before.

First Time Visitor

This was my first time visiting the Writing Center and it was a little scary for me at first. Once I walked in my tutor was very helpful and said she would be with me right away. She read through my paper once before discussing things with me. She found mistakes that I had overlooked and even a place where a new paragraph could be made. It was very helpful and made me much more confident about my essay.

Awesome Writing Center at CLU!!!!

I definitely would recommend the Writing Center. James was extremely helpful with proof reading and correcting my grammer, which I over looked. He explained that when your typing you do not always catch your mistakes, but if you have a hard copy and re-read you paper it is much easier to find mistakes.

Caitlin was very helpful and friendly. We went over the APA manual to ensure the citations were accurate. Definitely worth taking your paper to the Writing Ctr to proof-read, especially when you've pulled an 'all-nighter'! Grammar/typo easily overlooked...

I have had the privilege of visiting the writing center over 10 times this year. I have visited with 3 of the girls who work there, and have had an amazing experience with each one. Extremely Helpful!

I was having trouble even getting started with my paper. Ursula helped me narrow down my topic and create a rough outline to help me focus. She even helped me research sources within the parameters of the assignment. I have gone from being completely blocked with no clue whatsoever what I was doing, to having focus and so many sources now that I can pick and choose the best. Wonderful Experience!
