This was my first massage here and I promptly booked additional sessions. Michaela is very knowledgeable. I felt completely comfortable in her hands from the first few minutes. I appreciated that she took time both before and after my visit to explain her approach. I was amazed at how quickly she zoned in on areas that needed work and then knew exactly how to release tension there. I am already feeling the benefits of her work and look forward to further improving with additional sessions!

I purchased a Groupon for 60 minute body scrub and 25 minute express facial. I entered the business and was out the door within one hour's time. The "scrub" was brief, taking 10 minutes. The rest of the time I was in a wrap while facial was done, with time at the end to shower off. Length of service was not as expected or advertised. Courteous staff and pleasant location was appreciated.

This was my first time getting a full Brazilian! I am so glad that I chose Daydream Bodyworks! When I first walked in I was already put at ease. The atmosphere is beautiful, clean and inviting. Michaela took the time to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. She was so nice and made me feel like a friend, not just another customer. My massage and hot stone therapy were both very good. They certainly hit the spots I needed to work on. The only problem is that the salon is still new - the noise level coming from the downstairs area must still be figured out - maybe raise the music! The atmosphere needs some sprucing up but has major potential!

This facial was hands down the BEST thing I've ever done for my skin. I didn't know my skin could look and feel this way. There is no other place I can imagine getting a facial. He is very knowledgeable in his field zeroing in on what muscles need to be worked on, relieving tension which ultimately provides a sense of deep relaxation. First spa experience ever, booked as a surprise by my husband. I cannot find the words to describe Michaela (WOW). The coffee body polish left my skin smoother than I've ever known it to be. The facial was fabulous (my husband immediately noticed the difference when he came to pick me up afterwards). The 90-minute Swedish Massage released every muscle (some that I didn't know that I had). The atmosphere was "all about me" (which was a definite change of pace).

I made a last minute appointment for waxing and it had been over a year since my last waxing. Being new to the area, I found Daydream on Yelp. Michaela was welcoming, smart, and cared a lot about her services. I have been going to Daydream Bodyworks for years. Working on at a desk job then turing around and teaching a Zumba class, and being a single mum really takes its toll on the body. Where I hold my tension is in my shoulders and back like Well we found a new thing to try dealing w/elecricity that worked a mirical!! I was totaly relaxed!!! Granted at first I was alittle nervous, but WOW!!! It so worked!!!! My muscles just melted and I was able to really relax and feel like a "normal" person!!

It actually felt like she accomplished getting some tension out of my muscles! I even liked the relaxing music! The facial was an express, for sure, but my face felt awesome after so smooth! I needed relief to an injured shoulder blade and Michaela's deep-tissue neuro-muscular massage was fantastic. Immediate relief was experienced though more visits necessary to restore complete mobility to the shoulder movement.

I went to Daydream Body works to get a pregnancy massage. I don't think i have ever been so pleased with how i spent my time. Michaela was wonderful! She was delightful and accommodating. By taking a little extra tie to chat with me she made me feel like i was more than just another customer. Great massage, great place, great lady!

She did a thorough, professional job and I was impressed with her attention to detail and proficiency. I highly recommend Michaela. It was a bit painful even with the numbing cream so next time I plan on drinking a bit of alcohol before my appointment. I am totally happy with the outcome!

I have been seeing Micheala for close to 2 yrs. The reason..She made sure that I know that its not a splurge to do. I work hard at both my job and rasing a child and that I need something for me to stay healthy. I always feel so much better after I get off the table then when I first get on it. I felt very comfortable with the atmosphere, but the salt/sugar scrub was probably not the most relaxing treatment I could of chosen (while applying it). The after affects was nice but ..... the only thing I didn't like was the towel situation, maybe a bigger towel for those who are modest.

I really liked the casual feel and relaxed vibe I got as I walked through the door. I had my back/neck/shoulders waxed for the first time and it was actually enjoyable. I do recommend the numbing cream as a before and after treatment for any tender/sunburned areas. Overall, the process was painless and went faster than I thought. Treat yourself and go to Daydream Bodyworks!

Maybe the only place in Southern Maine to get a male brazilian wax, so the price is fairly high, especially when compared to similar services in other localities. Upon showering the next morning, there are a LOT of stray hairs missed, even after 20 minutes of the technician tweezing after the waxing. The tech, however, had a very professional attitude and committed to putting the customer at ease. While now less hairy, I would NOT say the waxed areas are hair free as they should be.

The whole experience was very relaxing and very enjoyable! Michaela was so personable and we never once felt as if we were being rushed through our appointment! She listened to our preferences and needs and suggested the hot oil massage and both of us loved it! The only thing I would have changed was the temperature of the room, I was a little chilly. She sent us home with the rest of the candle, roses, and chocolate! It was a very special way to spend valentine's day!

I was looking forward to this being over before it even started. To my pleasant surprise the discomfort was minimal and Micheala was excellent. As others have stated, Michaela takes her time with clients, you don't get the feeling she is rushing you through. She made a back wax seem relaxing, what more needs to be said. I am looking forward to trying perhaps a facial and a massage. Just her personality was worth the hour drive I had to get there.
