When going to purchase my Silkie Chick at Amber Waves, I was very impressed on how clean and organized all her animals were. I was grateful they had supplies I would need to keep my baby chick. I had the pleasure of viewing the Silkie chickens at Amber Waves. I was quite impressed with the amount of space and clean coops each chicken had. The entire place is well cared for. The Silkies were beautiful. I found Amber Waves to be very professional and knowledgable. I would advise anyone interested in a Silkie to go straight to Amber Waves.

I could not have had a more enjoyable time visiting anyone's farm. I went with the intent to see the Silkies and select a rooster but, enjoyed Jim's company and the delightful overall experience of the entire farm. The goats and other animals are gorgeous and the grounds and facility are impeccable. My 8 year old daughter and I just had a great visit to the Amber Waves Ranch. Jim was a great host and tour guide (he is great with kids). . .It is obvious that great care is taken of the animals. Amazingly clean! This made me feel good about the purchase of four silkies. I think it is rest that there is a dan testing option for those of us who are trying to avoid the affects of a roo on our neighbors. . .Can't wait to find out the results of the test and pick up our chicks.

Jim & Debbie have a wonderful little operation breeding farm animals as pets. I have gotten 6 silkie chicks from Amber Waves on three separate visits. It's a treat to go out to Norco & see the animals. I had some difficulty with one chick & they replaced it right away. Communication and support are readily available & the online appointment system is top notch. This is a well-run business. My Amber Waves Silkies are loveable & cuddly, like teacup poodles!

I did some research before I bought my Silkie chicks and this looked like the best place for me. I wasn't disappointed and I'm glad I bought from them. I drove to Norco to pick up my chicks. I have been to a lot of chicken breeders and Amber Waves is one of the cleanest breeders I have been to.....all of his animals not just the chickens. Anyway, the silkies are gorgeous. The black is such a pure black. All the colors are beautiful and it is such a lovely chicken. I only wish we could know their sex for sure!!!!

The farm is one of those places that make you think "I wouldn't mind living here" so for the animals it's almost like heaven. Jim and Debbie were very warm hearted people who treated their animals like family.The best part for my two girls was picking the silkie bantam chicks to take home.We love our 2 silkies. Knowing that our chickies came from a clean and healthy environment makes us feel happy that our little Peaches and Pearl will grow beautifully.

The goats are happy and healthy and LOVE to be with people, which makes it that much easier to have our hands all over them! We too are first time pygmy goat owners. Jim and Debbie have been and still are there for us, it seems 24 hours a day. They still care for our little guys as if they were their own. Even on a rainy friday night when we encountered an umfortunately timed medical issue they were on the phone and on the email with us, putting us in touch with a Vet that could help. I love Amber Waves! Jim and Debbie were very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. Jim gave us a tour of the farm and we got to see the different birds, chickens, and goats that they have. The farm itself was clean and well-kept. I bought a white 1 month old silkie for $35. I think the price is really good for the quality of silkie that I got. Jim even gave me a plastic bag full of silkie feeds for free! Im coming back really soon to get another silkie!

I recently went to the Amber Wave operation, after exchanging a few emails with Jim and Debbie. I was met by Jim and shown around and was impressed with the whole operation and quality of birds and animals they have to offer! I selected a white Silkie hen, to go with the Rooster we already have and it was a GREAT addition to our aviary!
