Adorable

The place was amazing. There were so many animals there and there was a very large selection of animals. We recently purchased two adorable silkie chicks, one partridge and one buff. Jim was also so kind, showing us everywhere and guiding us through the whole process. I recommend Amber Waves.

Great support

I bought 2 Silkies from Amber Waves and when I got home one seemed not to be doing well. I called up and Jim was great he offered me a few suggestions and called back to check on my chick. Turns out he was just cold and sleepy.

Amazing

Awesome. It was clean and the selection was very large. Jim was really kind and he let my kids pet other animals like a baby goat and a buff silkie. I can not recommend this place highly enough.

Excellent!

Amber Waves was very impressive. We truly enjoyed our tour of Amber Waves and found Jim to be knowledgeable on the subject of animals. He was a pleasure to talk to. He is also very warm, caring and respectful of each and every animal at Amber Waves. We plan to purchase a pygmy goat at Amber Waves.

Wonderful.

We had a wonderful time looking at their beautiful chickens. Everything was so clean probably one of the cleanest breeders I have ever seen. My chicks are doing great, I would recommend Amber Waves to anytime.

Very clean facility

I have been to a lot of chicken breeders and Amber Waves is one of the cleanest breeders I have been to.....all of his animals not just the chickens. Anyway, the silkies are gorgeous. The black is such a pure black. All the colors are beautiful and it is such a lovely chicken. I only wish we could know their sex for sure!!!!

Recent Purchase of Silkie Chicks

I visited Amber Waves about one month ago to see their operation and purchase a few silkie chicks for my wife's birthday. Jim showed me around the family ranch and educated me about his animals and operation. I was very impressed. The animals are well cared for. I purchased three silkie chicks and all are healthy and doing well. I would recommend Amber Waves to my friends.

amazing... best ever!!!

Jim is such a sweet person. We took our 3 year old son this Sunday to buy a silkie chick and the experience was amazing. Jim explained everything, he took his time with us to show us all the animals. Happy Experience!

The farm is one of those places that make you think "I wouldn't mind living here" so for the animals it's almost like heaven. Jim and Debbie were very warm hearted people who treated their animals like family.The best part for my two girls was picking the silkie bantam chicks to take home.We love our 2 silkies. Knowing that our chickies came from a clean and healthy environment makes us feel happy that our little Peaches and Pearl will grow beautifully.

Farmtastic!

My visit to Amber Waves brought back my childhood of being surrounded with farm animals. I love silkie bantams. Jim and Debbie are like the grandparents that I never had...they are absolutely delightful. I want to bring back all the animals home. Awesome place for children to pay a visit. Definitely will revisit Amber Waves for more animals in the future!

Very Professional

I picked up my 2 new Pygmy goats on Saturday. I was very impressed with the grounds and how well the animals were cared for. Debbie and Jim are very kind and were happy to show us their other animals. All of the paper work was filled out and waiting for us with some additional resources for caring for our new pets. I love my new babies and would absolutely do business with Amber Waves again.

Silkies

We really enjoyed walking around the beautifully maintained property and checking out all the unique animals. We got to hand pick two Silkie chicks to bring home. Jim and Debbie were both helpful and answered any questions we had on proper care. We would love to go back at sometime in the future.

Great Goats

Everything was better than expected. It was so easy to make appointments and pay. Jim and Debbie are both very knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions. The goats are great travel well and even walked great on a leash. If you are looking to purchase show or pet pygmy goats this is the place to go. I couldn't be happier.

Well oiled machine!!

Amber Waves did a great job from beginning to end! We bought two baby goats from them and they were informative, helpful and friendly! The goats are happy and healthy and LOVE to be with people, which makes it that much easier to have our hands all over them! Scheduling to pick up the goats was a snap as well, being able to make a appointment online and work it into my schedule worked very well!! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for goats, or chickens!!!!!

Love my silkie chicks!

Great doing business with Jim..he gave us a tour of his cute farm and we selected our chicks and were on our way. Very professional and easy to work with and I really like being able to pay a bit more to exchange if the hens end up being roosters.

Baby silkie chicks

My two sons and my friend and her kids all made the trip to visit Jim at Amber Waves on Tuesday. What a nice man! He showed us all his critters and took his time in answering all our questions. He even helped my son pick out the best chicks for his 4H showmanship. If you are looking for a silkie chic, turkey, or pygmy goats, you should go visit Jim before you buy. Happy, Healthy and Adorable Kids

The Best

We too are first time pygmy goat owners. Jim and Debbie have been and still are there for us, it seems 24 hours a day. They still care for our little guys as if they were their own. Even on a rainy friday night when we encountered an umfortunately timed medical issue they were on the phone and on the email with us, putting us in touch with a Vet that could help. The support is amazing and we can't say enough about how much we enjoy our little guys. Thanks Amber Waves!!

Best baby goat ever!

We were lucky to go to Amber Waves and meet Debbie and Jim! We got the best baby goat ever! She is so healthy and cute. The little farm is very clean and they have animals that are so adorable. They also have the best customer service! They had checked with me many times to know how our baby is doing. If you are looking for the best goat breeder, Amber Waves is the way to go. Lovely, friendly chickens, goats, geese, donkey and people!

We bought 4 very sweet silkies this past weekend. My 6 year old daughter was with us and she got to meet the pygmy goats, turkeys, geese and the resident donkey. She was thrilled! The premises were clean and the animals were calm, friendly and healthy. Would not hesitate to purchase from them again!

Loved it!

I love Amber Waves! Jim and Debbie were very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. Jim gave us a tour of the farm and we got to see the different birds, chickens, and goats that they have. The farm itself was clean and well-kept. I bought a white 1 month old silkie for $35. I think the price is really good for the quality of silkie that I got. Jim even gave me a plastic bag full of silkie feeds for free! Im coming back really soon to get another silkie!

Wonderful Beyond Our Expectations

We visited Amber Waves yesterday and it was outstanding! Jim was knowledgeable, helpful and overall a great guy. The animals were well cared for, clean, healthy and happy! The "farm" was also 5 Star. Jim spent more time with us than we expected which was great fun and very educational for my son and his friend. We cannot wait to visit again. With all the information Jim provided we hope to purchase animal(s) on our next visit.

Recent Purchase of Silkie

I recently went to the Amber Wave operation, after exchanging a few emails with Jim and Debbie. I was met by Jim and shown around and was impressed with the whole operation and quality of birds and animals they have to offer! I selected a white Silkie hen, to go with the Rooster we already have and it was a GREAT addition to our aviary! I will certainly be back in the future and recommend this "Family" operation to everyone looking for Show quality poultry or Pygmy Goats! :-)
