It was good. I arrived there in time, and I was assigned to the personnel at the designated time. All staff are friendly and helpful. Finished all work within 15 minutes, and drove back to work. In addition, there are free parking spots for visitors, which is always good.

This is my second time going through the new hire process at GT, and though the experience was not bad last time, it was much better this time. Miranda processed all my paperwork quickly and cheerfully. I was happy to see that staff can now get a BuzzCard in OHR rather than having to walk over to the student center, so it saved me time and kept me from having to walk in the rain. All the paperwork is a necessary evil, but Miranda and the automated processes of OHR made it as easy as possible.

The on-line system for completing the newcomer's package leaves much to be desired...kicks you off the system and you have to restart..and there is no way to complete the forms and save on your own computer, nor will OHR allow you to print on their printers... People were very nice, but the system needs improvement.

They forgot my visa petition, didn't tell me anything, never answered my emails, and finally made my employment postponed more than one and half months. It made me to pay my apartment lease and flight without any meanings. A customer service representative typed my name incorrectly on the system, and never answered to my calls. I've already suffered a lot of loss due to the mistakes made by GT offices, and I don't want more. This makes me repent of my choice turned down the offer from Stanford.

A well organized comprehensive onboarding, with overviews, paperwork completions, a large packet of information on benefits, scheduling of follow up meetings with management, a tour, a positive handoff to a local sponsor, etc. The HR staffer was helpful, efficient, professional and knowledgeable. One comment - learning only after the hire that employees pay six hundred dollars a year to park at work was a bit of a surprise. If you're job seeking, take that into consideration.

The only snag would probably be the GLACIER registration process afterwards. It asked for a lot of information, including past travel to the US. Bring all your old passports just in case.

My appointment was at 10:30am and I was not seen until 11 and did not leave OHR until 12pm. The process was very long and ineffecient and there was no apology or explanation for the delay. However, the staff member who assited me was very nice and knowledgable.

I was quickly attended to by a member of the staff, who patiently guided me through the parts of the application I needed help with, and explained clearly what else needed to be done. On my first day my experience with HR was good. The CSR was very nice and pleasant. My only complaint was that she sent me to Parking Services, when I didn't need to go. She forgot to give me a temporary decal so I had to go all the way back to HR. Other than that my experience would have been great. But overall it was good.

The entrance to HR needs signage to direct visitors to sign-in. It was much better in the past when there was someone there specifically to greet those coming in. The actual exit interview was just two folks signing off on my form; it would have been a better use of my time if I could have met with someone who actually did an interview, and wanted to know of my opinions.

The staff was extremely helpful and got us through the paperwork withoit wait and very pleasntly. We arrived 15 min before the appointed time counting on waiting a bit, but they took us right away. During the orientation, the presentation of OHR was the most informative one and it was extremely well prepared. It was a pity that they received so little time that they had to rush I would suggest that in future orientations, they are given miore time and other presentations are cut
