    Amazing healing straight from the heart

    Wonderful!

    Lymphodemia

    I have been suffering from Lymphodemia as a result of ovarian cancer. Julie has worked her magic once again!!! My lymphodemia has gone down and I can now walk better and my leg has less pain. I will come back and have Julie continue the treatment to ensure I don't get this back. Thank you!

    sinus headache + acupuncture = relief!

    I have never been to acupuncture before, but it had been highly recommended for sinus headaches. I met with Sara and discussed my condition and my concerns. About half way through the treatment I realized my headache was mostly gone. I walked out feeling much better and have felt better ever since (2 days). I have been singing acupuncture's praises ever since.

    Julie made all the difference

    I was so tired of dealing with Western oriented doctors who refused to look at my issues holistically. They just kept wanting to throw drugs at the problem. What is so amazing is that I came to see Julie about one specific issue, but she ended up helping with several other medical issues in the process.     Love it

    I've been going to Selby Acupuncture for a long time and have loved it from day 1. Julie is very knowledgable and compassionate. I got mainly for migraines and digestion problems and very feel like Julie is a partner in trying to figure out how to treat me. I only wish I would have found the earlier!     Great healing Experience

    Amazing!

    I am in the first trimester of my pregnancy and am using acupuncture to help with nausea. Both Julie and Sara have done treatments on me and both times I left the office feeling great. My nausea was incredibly diminished and I had a ton of energy! Every pregnant woman should use acupuncture and Selby Acupuncture is a great place to go!

    Very nice 1st impression

    Love my experience!

    I have had acupuncture in a few different places. I have to say that Selby ( and Julie) are amazing! So relaxing, 'safe' environment and truely enjoyable. I recommend everyone take time to go see them and give themselves the permission to relax!

    Very helpful!

    This was my first appointment for acupuncture and assumed that my insurance wouldn't cover it. But the receptionist was so kind to look it up on her computer and found that it was indeed covered. My session with Julie was completely comfortable and informative. I cross my fingers for eventual good results!

    Finally, a place my husband will go for relief!

    My own success with Selby Acupuncture was enough to convince my husband he should try it for his frozen shoulder. He had been through PT for weeks with little result. After one treatment with Sara he had the best range of motion he'd had in a year. If you ever run into him, he'll talk your ear off until you promise to go! Get going!

    Changed my life!

    I had no idea how much pain I was actually in with my sciatic nerve, neck and feet until Julie applied acupunture needles to the back of my body. For the first time in months I slept through the night, I no longer had excruciating pain waking me up in the middle of the night and was well rested when I woke. Incredible! I booked a month of appointments today. If I feel this fantastic after 1 application I can only imagine how amazing I'll be in a month!

    Pain relief and well being

    I first consulted with Sara for pain relief in anticipation of hip replacement surgery. Over the course of several visits, I noticed not only a decrease in pain symptons, but a sense of general well being, less tension, better digestion and more energy. Her specific pre-surgery treatment helped ease whole surgery experience. One unexpected benefit - Sara asked if I had a fear of flying and directed some treatment towards that - what a difference it made. I highly recommend Sara !

    5 STAR RESULT!

    Wonderful, calming, positive environment augments the outstanding practitioner, Julie. Julie is exceptional in explaining chinese philosophy and treatment. She takes the time to understand and listen. She answers questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. I have been seeing Julie for digestion issues as well as focus and concentration issues. After 3 visits the focus and concentration issue is remarkably improved. There have also been digestion improvements. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

    First time acupuncture

    I am looking for relief for restless legs. I was a little nervous about this acupuncture thing. Sara greeted me warmly and went over the paperwork with me. She asked many questions - more than any doctor has ever asked me!! The acupuncture was almost painless. The only complaint I would have is I was told to relax for 25 minutes and it was more like 50 minutes which was hard on my back. The clinic was very clean and orderly and the background music was so soothing. I will be back!

    I was very, very impressed with Selby Acupuncture! It was my first visit and Sara was wonderful! She made me feel comfortable right away and she did an amazing job.     Very excited about my future with Selby Acupuncture!

    After only being seen 5 days ago for my first visit, I'm already noticing results, which I find incredible! I've had IBS & pain due to gastritis for 2 1/2 years now, with the most recent addition of heartburn. I'm amazed that I'm already experiencing less frequent & less severe abdominal pain!!     Always can be seen !

    No matter what the busy schedule Selby Acupuncture can always seem to fit me in when I really need them to. I prefer acupuncture treatment over any other type of pain management there is out there.

    Compassionate Holiatic Health Care

    I have a number of chronic health issues all of which are under control. I continue to have a treatment every four to six weeks to keep everything in balance, to keep the chi flowing. I find Julie to be a most compassionate and caring provider. Her science background, compassion and intuition are a perfect combination for healing. I tell anyone who will listen about my expereince with acupuncture and suggest they give a try.

    Best Hour I Spend

    Selby Acupuncture is a fantastic place. Sara has helped treat my allergies and lower back pain. I have been able to find such relief from the treatments. Whenever I tell people about going to acupuncture, I say it is the best hour I spend every two weeks. I feel rejuvenated when I leave.     I started seeing Sara at Selby Acupuncture a few months ago for chronic knee pain. I was very skeptical to begin with, but I am happy to report that with weekly treatments my pain has vanished. In addition to pain control, Sara is so fun to come and see. I feel like I'm hanging out with an old friend. Sara is extremely approachable, funny, compassinate, and empathetic.     First Visit.......results already!

    I spent time at Selby clinic yesterday for my first ever acupuncture appointment. I was amazed and thirlled with how much better I felt immediately after my session and symptoms that were plaguing me for while were improved and in some cases gone. Julie was fantastic.     Healthy in Many Ways

    I've been a client of Julie McCormick for over two years. She has totally relieved my allergy symptoms when other treatments failed miserably. In addition, she's alleviated pain from a pulled hamstring, rotator cuff injury, insomnia and other minor complaints. Selby Acupuncture is also a wonderful, comfortable community of acupuncturists, staff and clients - all who care about living health. This place is just wonderful!

    Amazing!!!!!

    no more hot flashes

    I have bee seeing Julie off and on for a couple of years for various symptoms. 2 weeks ago I experienced my first hot flash. Over the week I averaged 10 -15 a day, I scheduled w/Julie and after the 1st t-ment and use of herbs I have not had a single hot flash. thankyou!

    I'm thankful for Selby Acupuncture

    Julie, Sarah and the entire team (including Laurie and Judy) are supportive and kind. While I primarily see Julie, both she and Sarah have deep knowledge of their practices. They are both caring, compassionate and very practical. When I first started getting acupuncture I was a big baby about the needles. Not anymore.     Quick results

    "Frozen Shoulder" is something you don't want to experience. The pain is big and the inconvenience is even bigger. From stress, I woke up one morning with no mobility in my right arm and huge pain. In one week's time, three treatments and homework (keep it warm), I am back to normal. I know people who have been debilitated with range of motion issues for up to 2 years. Sara was my main provider and Julie stepped in for one of the treatments. Both are skilled and able--I will be back.

    The best place I go every two weeks!

    I love the care I receive from Sara. She is warm, welcoming, and always ready to hear how I have been. When I started acupuncture, I was looking for relief from allergies and a boost in my mood. What I have been able to find is relief from a number of things. I have received information about what I put in my body and how it can help me or hinder me. In addition, I know that I can count on either Sara or Julie to help with any ailment I bring in through a treatment or by using herbs.

    A cure for all my ills

    I first went to Selby Acupunture for abominal pain that Western medicine couldn't fix or explain. Within 2-3 weeks the pain was gone and I had an understanding of the cause and the prevention. Once my immediate concerns were under control, we moved onto my energy level and cronic pain. Both Sara and Julie have been wonderful, and the relief I get after a session is remarkable. Highly recommended!

    Cold Sore Relief!

    I have been working with Julie for the past several months and she has helped me relieve the intensity and frequency of my cold sores. I have worked on this issue for years on my own and haven't been able to solve it. Julie has an incredibly 'bedside manner' and really works to solve your symptoms. My weekly visits are always so enjoyable. I am a HUGE wimp to pain and acupuncture is very comfortable.

    Excellent care and knowledge!

    Julie is great! I started suffering from migraines and fibromyalgia and within 2 sessions with her, I felt back to my normal self! She knew exactly what she was doing and was very very knowledgeable about everything AND knew how to explain it to me!     From Headaches to Getting Pregnant

    I first began using acupuncture to help with headaches and to relieve tension in my upper back and neck. This therapy helped tremendously! I then decided to use it to help with getting pregnant. After only a few sessions not only were my headaches gone but I became pregnant! I highly recommend Selby Acupuncture, the results are amazing!!

    Wonderful feeling!

    Unlike other treatments you have to wait and see how they work Selby Acupuncture always works. When ever my back pain flairs up it is my first choice over pain meds, chiroprators, or orthopedic docs.

    Wonderful place...amazing people

    Seeing Julie is always rewarding on many fronts. I come away both rested and energized. She's dealt with issues from poor sleep, allergies and Reynaud's Syndrome. She's amazing.     Effective and Extremely Calming

    Acupwho?

    I went to Selby Acupuncture to appease my wife. Lisa and Sara will not cure my chronic illness, but they have helped me deal with a couple symptoms/side effects without the use of more medication. I appreciate their conviction and honesty.

    No new medications

    Sara is fanatastic. She's been treating me for joint pain associated with an autoimmune disease and so far I've not had to start taking any new medications. Before I started I felt my joints were screaming at me and now they may hurt sometimes but nothing like before. Plus Sara is always working toward my overall well being not just a specific problem. She's very caring and does a great job. I'd highly recommend her. All the staff are very friendly.

    Relax the Pain Away

    I have been struggling with degenerative disk disease in my lower back for some time now and after my first visit I was free from the pain I have had in my left side for years. I would recommend this treatment to anyone suffering from low energy and pain. They treat the whole you not just where it hurts.

    Julie has been helping me with some specific issues, also during my treatments she looks for other ways to make my visit more of a success(i.e. if have headache when I arrive it is gone when I leave, or other minor aches and pains). Over all she is comforting to be around and I trust her completely. Great place, great people.

    Sara is wonderful. She is very thorough and attentive. I have had many issues addressed through acupuncture and feel that is the only thing that helps my neck and back pain.     Ah, Relief.

    I have been seeing Julie for several years now for everything from pain management, relief of cold symptoms, extremity weakness and spasticity, to low energy levels and I have always found relief in some form or other.
