I have been looking for her for a while and when my sister sent me her Link to her Salon i was excited. Karen has always been into healthy hair and she will always tell you the truth . when she got done with me i told her i loved my hair and i will be back . I had to be a bridesmaid in an outdoor wedding this past Saturday (windy and freezing). I got my hair done the Friday morning before, so it would look good for the rehearsal that night. I got tons of compliments and my hair still looked amazing for the wedding on Saturday. I barely had to touch it up!!!

To begin, the ability to book your appointment on-line is phenomenal- finally- a salon that is technically savvy... no more calling, being put on hold, etc. etc... I was a client of Karen's for a little over a year when I decided that I would try something different and go to another stylist. First of all, when I got there, the stylist asked me what products do I use because my hair was so clean. I eagerly told her about the Synergi Salon line of products, ignoring my first red flag. She then cut off all of my hair, dyed it the wrong color and glued tracks in my hair to cover it up!! Needless to say, I'm back with Karen so that she can fix the mess I made.

I really admire the way that Karen has refused to perform services (ie perms) that were not in my best interest. I have "male patterned baldness" and wore a wig for years. I went to Karen one day requesting that she perm my hair and she indicated that the only thing she would do was cut my hair so that I could go natural. It took some getting use to but I enjoy the freedom.
