    I always get a great haircut at Bella Donna's. Paul and Kathy have both cut my hair, and they personalize my haircut for me. I also love the atmosphere at Bella Donna's. I highly recommend the salon.

    Tammy is tops!!

    Tammy has been cutting my hair for the last twelve years. All my life my fine, rather limp hair has driven me crazy. But Tammy gives it a classic shape that looks fine with very little effort besides seeing Tammy and the "gang" once a month.

    Foiled Again!

    Belladonna's takes you into a nice place with professionals. Tammy is terrific-still with her after 20 years! She is up to date on products and cuts. I walk out of there feeling like a million bucks. And the other stylists do some great work, too!

    Love Love Love Bella Donna's!

    Been coming to this salon for almost 3 years - love everything about it! Kathy does an amazing job on my high/lowlights and I ALWAYS get compliments on my cut & color! Definitely have no reason to go anywhere else, plus the salon is so dang cute and everyone there is so friendly!

    Paul is Brilliant!

    I started having Paul do my hair about 5 years ago and have never had anyone else touch my hair since! He is so talented with color and really listens to what you want done with your hair as far as the cut and style but also has wonderful suggestions. I feel relaxed and comfortable at Bella Donnas; its like a chic little cottage and everyone is very welcoming. Go and see Paul, you will love what he will do with your hair!

    Paul is the Best Stylist and Colorist!!

    Paul is not only experienced but has a real gift and talent for styling and coloring hair, My hair is mostly gray and Paul was able to give me a style and color that makes me feel up-to-date and modern. My style and color stays looking nice and is easy to care for in-between appointments. I get compliments frequently and am so happy to refer people to Paul. He listens carefully and that is important to me.

    Fabulous!

    Paul was fantastic

    I read great reviews for Paul on Yelp so I decided to give it a try for cut and color. He was great, gave me an awesome haircut and really listened to what I want. I always ask for a cut I can just wash and go, finally finally I got one with Paul! Looks super cute even though I never blow dry. This guy knows what he is doing. Thanks!

    Very informative. $30 first time extra for curly hair cut... which brings a wash and trim to 75 dollars. Bit steep but lots of great information. Will return

    Shana is a pro with curly hair!

    Paul at Bella Donna's is the bomb!

    I've been going to Paul Salcedo for years. I always get compliments on my cuts and no one even knows my hair is colored!! I have thick wavy hair, and he layers it so I can go curly or straight. Bella Donna's is a cute, cozy salon in OB with a great vibe!!

    Wonderful!

    I have extremely thick hair and it had grown past the middle of my back since I hadn't had a cut in 2 1/2 years! Kathy was amazing -- she gave me a fantastic cut and style ... and to top it off, she was fun to talk to! Love the use of organic products!

    Kathy is awesome!

    I'm a blonde so its always scary going to someone new. I don't want to turn out like every other bleached out blonde. Kathy blended my colors perfect! Also as a new mom I don't have a lot of time and i was out of there with a cut color and style within 2 hours. I will definitely be going back.

    Is that your natural color?

    Tammy was the first stylist I would let color my hair. Since then, I've appreciated the consistency of my experience and enjoyed the many compliments I get. Bella Donna is so very Ocean Beach with an easy, no worries atmosphere. I have no reservation in recommending Tammy and her salon.

    Great Cut

    Just moved to Ocean Beach this winter and am so glad to have discovered Paul so quickly. It's nice to have someone who actually listens to what I want for my hair and lack of skills in dealing with it on a daily basis. He cut it just as I asked and made good suggestions. I'll be back!

    For years I have suffered disappointing haircuts, and paid serious money for the privilege. My frizzy-curly-straight locks are difficult, but Paul has the magic. He actually listens, and knows how to fix it all. I've had several awesome cuts in a row!

    The Best Hair Stylist and Colorist in San Diego

    Paul Salcedo is the best hair stylist and colorist that I have found in decades of devoted searching and seeking for an excellent stylist. While Paul is gifted as both a stylist and colorist his ability to listen to what I really want far exceeds the average stylist. And clearly he has the experience and talent to to know what will work best for my particular hair. I recommend Paul to everyone I know.

    Love Tammy!

    I don't trust my hair with anyone else. I live a good 20 mi away from Bella Donna's. I initially started going because she was close to my house. Now I can't go anywhere else. She knows exactly what I want, I feel great everytime I leave the salon, and she's fantastic at what she does. What more can you ask for.

    I've paid 3 times as much for my haircuts but it's been 6 years six years now and NOBODY has ever cut it better than Tammy Chesser. The saloon is super clean and the ambience is small-town intimate,.

    At peace with my hair

    Paul has been cutting my hair for a few years now, and has really helped me make peace with what is otherwise one big mess of cowlicks. Not only do I get great cuts, but he explains how to at least get close getting similar styling results at home.

    I always love going to get my hair cut at Bella Donna's because the service is amazing. Tammy is very friendly, and there is never an awkward, dull silence. Tammy shows you products and techniques you can try at home, and explains how and why they work. After visiting, my hair looks and feels great!

    Adorable salon, knowledgeable staff

    I went in for a Keratin treatment and had a great experience! The salon was clean and really nice. Tammy explained the process and I even got to sit on the front porch while she flat ironed my hair. She gave me tons of great tips for caring for my hair - I am so glad I went in and my hair looks great!!

    Loving my hair

    Such a good experience!

    My hair looks and feels amazing, thanks to Shana! It was my first time at Bella Donna's yesterday--and I will be going back for sure! The atmosphere was very warm and laid back and when I left I felt like swinging my hair around like a cheesey shampoo commerical. 5 Star expericence for sure!

    The Absolutely Incredible Shana Sachs

    If you have ever wanted to feel incredible about yourself and your hair, you simply have to visit Shana at Belladonna's... I recommend her to everyone and she not only is a great stylist and knows what color works well for you, but she is a wonderful person to spend a few hours with!

    Thick, wavy, frizzy hair? Paul is your man.

    I am very particular (ok, high maintenance) about my hair. Took me years to find Paul after moving to SD, and I've been going to him for 5+ yrs now. My hair is thick, wavy and frizzy...I would be Ugly Betty with salt & pepper hair without Paul's skills. Instead, it's a gorgeous light chestnut and looks awesome whether I go w/natural curls or straighten it. Also, he's super patient (did I mention I'm high maintenance?) and will give you whatever look you want, from edgy to classic.

    Paul is the real deal

    I have kind of straight, kind of curly, unpredictable hair. About once a decade someone cuts it right, and Paul is the winner! My hair looks good when I leave the studio AND when I style it myself. As a bonus, he's a really nice, straight-shooting, easy-going guy. Five stars, no hesitation.

    Consistently beautiful hair

    I love Bella Donna's! It is such a quaint, welcoming place to have your hair done. Tammy and her other stylists are friendly and welcoming and Paul is an absolute master at his craft.     Phenomenal Brazilian Blowout

    Tammi is truly an artist doing her craft with perfection. I was a little nervous when I decided to get the Brazilian Blowout, but within minutes I realized Tammi was "the teacher" mentoring a few stylists, demonstrating meticulously each detailed procedure, explaining why and showing how to do it flawlessly. The end result was unbelievable. I love it; after having frizzy hair for years I now have, even after 3 months, silky, shiny, do I dare say, gorgeous hair! Thanks Tammi you're the BEST!

    Best Haircut I've Had in a Long Time

    I had medium length hair and decided to go pixie. I was a little nervous doing it because I wasn't sure how it'd look, let's put it this way, when I got home, my husband couldn't stop grabbing me and kissing my face because he thought I looked so adorable.     Shana is wonderful!

    Whenever I go to Bella Donna's, I leave feeling wonderful! I have been going there for over 2 years now and Shana Sachs ALWAYS gives me a great haircut. She takes the time to actually look at your hair and give suggestions, instead of just grabbing the scissors right away. Shana is not only a hair stylist, but she has become a friend, and Bella Donna's is not only a salon, it is like walking into a home. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. If you go somewhere else, you're missing out!

    What a fantastic crew!!!!

    I have been getting my hair cut with Tammy for the past 7 years and I would never go anywhere else. On last Friday she gave me a kerotine/protein straightener and what an awesome experience, everyone in the shop was supportive and kept me going through the 4 hour and 27 minute treatment. I love all the staff and really enjoy my time with them. thanks everyone.

    JEN IS THE BEST!

    i have been going to jen for the last 4 years, and i refer anyone i know in need of a new stylist. i always say she was born to do hair, she always knows exactly what i want, even when i cant find the exact words. i always love my hair and i always walk out of the salon feeling 120% satisfied with my experience at the salon.     Relax and Enjoy

    Bella Donna's is an absolute favorite of mine! The salon is very bright and cheerful, yet also relaxing and soothing.     I was recommended to Gen Mauntel by a friend and I haven't stopped going to her since I moved to San Diego! I've had a fantastic experience every time from the perfect color and cute cuts.     Gen Mauntel is priceless!

    Gen has been coloring, cutting, and styling my hair for over a year and she is incredible at what she does. I have always had a hard time with finding the right stylist who can do my color how I like it and Gen is just fantastic. The salon has a great vibe and is just a great place to go.     Shanna has been cutting my hair for over ten years. Over this time, I have come to believe that no one else could be more beautiful, on the inside, as well as the outside!     Disappointed...

    I have been to Bella Donna's 3 times now. This past time was just not up to the usual standard. While my hairdresser was very nice and pleasant, and I do enjoy my cut, I feel as though my time was wasted and it was more expensive this time than it has been before, even though I signed up for the same color/highlight/cut combination as last time. I did not expect to be at the salon until 1:30pm when I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment at 10am. I understand that things can get busy,

    Great cut!

    After moving to San Diego over a year ago, I've been to one hair stylist and then the other in the search of someone who could cut my hair. You know, a real style and cut, not just the same old boring trim. Well, I found that in Shana. She was so patient. We went through three styling books together until I found a style I liked. She even took the time to teach me how to style it on my own! I love my cut!

    My hair has never looked this great. I get stopped all the time. She is genius with color and style. She knows how to bring out the best in you. She is also a great person to talk to. If you don't try her, I honestly question where you get your hair done. She is like a great wine- worth the money and experience. Once you have the best, the idea of going for cheap/bad stuff just gives you a head ache. Invest in yourself and go to Shauna. She is worth every penny!

    GREAT experience!

    A friend recommended me to Bella Donna's and said I HAD to book with Shauna! I'm glad I followed that advice! Shauna did a great job with my color and my new A-line cut. For the first time in my life strangers stop me to tell me they love my hair or to ask where I got it done! Would have given 5 stars, but the shop was so noisy i got a headache!

    Tammy is not only a great hairdresser, but a genuinely thoughtful person as well. She has taught me how to do what I previously thought unthinkable - wash my hair only 2-3 times a week! She is also very thoughtful of her clients. I have a newborn preemie and Tammy called to asked if I wanted to reschedule our appointment because she was getting over a cold and didn't want to expose me to it. Tammy consistently provides quality service and an enjoyable salon experience.

    I recently relocated to San Diego and have seen Jen twice after being referred to her by a close friend. I have had nothing but the best experience at Bella Donnas and I'! The salon is super cute. I also love the products they use. Not to mention Jen knows what she's doing and she's so fun!     Shawna is the best

    I have been going to Bella Donnas now for a few months. I love Shawna. She saved my hair!! It was completely over-bleached and slowly but surely, she brought it back to life. Very cute, quaint and comfortable salon with great products.

    The best service in town

    Tammy is the best hair stylist by far! She is so talented and knowledgeable at what she does. I never know what I want to do with my hair prior to my appt. When I arrive I let Tammy do her magic and it is always a perfect success! I trust her completely and my hair always looks great! Bella Donnas is the only place to go!!!

    If I won the lottery, I'd hair Tammy as my personal stylist

    My husband and I had to relocate out of state. Whenever I got a haircut by someone, my husband would say, "it's nice, but it's not a Tammy cut". This is from a man who rarely pays attention to such things, but Tammy's so good, it's noticeable when you go elsewhere.     Fantastic!

    Jenn just happens to be a magician with color. I came in with a really botched attempt and she corrected my problem. Now she also cuts my curly hair in a style I can manage on my own. She's personable and has a great sense of humor. I really look forward to my appointments. I highly recommend her, especially to those of you who are afraid of having your hair messed up, she'll come through with flying colors every time.

    Amazing!

    I can't say enough about Jenn - she's incredible with style and color. She takes really vague descriptions from me about what I want with my hair and makes it work - I always love it. Great listener, works well with your hair, and I've seen great cuts for all types of hair - including curly and short.     Best Hair Repair!

    Shana usually does my hair and does a wonderful job with both cut and color. I was not able to get to her for a while and went somewhere else that was convenient. Well, after a very bad cut, I came back to Shana and she did a great job repairing the damage. She is the best and I will not go anywhere else!

    Excellent service

    I came to Shana in frustration over my stylist who repeatedly cut my hair too short, in spite of my requests. I want to like my cut when I leave the salon, NOT wait 2 weeks while the cut grows out to the point where I like it. After she cut my hair, we looked at it, and she trimmed a little more off the back. Shana is GREAT!

    Jen is a wonderful breath of fresh air... She is excellant at her task and a precious sweet soul. I had her wax my legs (the first time ever) and I was VERY HAPPYY with the results.     I had my first ever Facial from Jennifer yesterday and my skin is literally as soft as a baby's! I also had my legs waxed carefully & thoroughly and are also smooth as baby's skin. Very relaxing experience and Jennifer is a thoughtful and terrific listener should you want to talk her head off!

    The salon was recommended to me by a friend and it did not disappoint. I loved the convenience of online booking. Somehow, I never remember to make an appointment during the normal course of the day, and I loved that I could see exactly when Tammy was available. Best of all is Tammy—she is warm, kind and full of great information. She spent a lot of time educating me on caring for and styling me hair. My hair looks better than it has in a long time.     My sister recommended I go to Bella Donne being new to the area. Not only is the salon absolutley adorable, clean, creativley decorated and homey, but they have snacks, tea and fresh water and great new magazines. As far the experience, it was more than just getting my hair done. Jen makes it so fun. Her stories are hiliarious and the time passed in an instant.
