    Meetings made easy...

    I've booked a number of meetings at Sandbox Suites and I haven't had any problems. For me, the most beneficial service is being able to to quickly book a room online any time, day or night. The accommodations are just what you'd need and expect...nothing more nothing less. Worry-free and convenient meeting space at a great price, what more could you ask for?

    Nice space but..

    The space itself is pretty nice. I had some problems though. First, the AC apparently hadn't been turned on so it was very hot in the lobby and in the conference room. Second, there wasn't a receptionist when I checked in, or when my client came in. And as far as I could tell there wasn't a receptionist at any time during the hour that I used the room. I literally checked myself into a conference room with my clients and left at the end without talking to anyone who actually works at Sandbox.

    Reliable, clean, useful

    Very useful facilities, very courteous and supportive staff. Access to all the necessary resources within arms reach. Review for the South Park location.

    Great meeting

    The meeting space was perfect, great projector, great size, great coffee and filtered water with plenty of mugs. All in all, perfect and a good value.

    review

    I am an attorney and for my mediation, I needed 2 conference rooms. It was inexpensive and professional. My chosen mediator asked me where I found this place and he will be using you from now on too. Attorneys need the conference rooms for depositions, mediation and arbitrations. Lots of attorneys work by themselves from home or in small offices.

    South Park Sandbox Suites, Top Notch!

    Out of the three SF Sandbox Suites I've been to...this one is my favorite! Joey, who works in the front is such an asset. He always has a welcoming smile and helps out anyway he can. He even gave me a battery when my mouse died. Thanks Joey!!

    great for offsites

    Its very nice to have a clean space that is well maintained to get out of the office for a focused planning session. It got a little hot in there with nine people- but ultimately we really enjoy this space. thx

    Tiny Room

    Sandbox Suites were friendly over the phone, and were happy to take my money . Then they vanished. I called their line, and left them emails, but never received any response. I was supposed to have a video conference with partners in DC. SS could have done a better job here.

    Tiny Room

    Booked the Tiny-Meeting Room for a couple hours. Room was fine - quiet, comfortable, etc. Front desk person was wonderful and helpful. Great place if you need a room for a few hours/day

    Easy to Book, Reasonable Cost

    We use Sandbox (South Beach) for ad hoc offsite meeting space, and the experience is always very smooth. Reservations are easy, staff is responsive, and the cost is very reasonable.

    Very Convenient, Friendly Staff

    The title says it all. I work from home, and don't always want to host meetings in my abode. I find Sandbox (Berkeley) to be convenient, appropriately priced, and with a very friendly, helpful staff. The only complaint I would have is regarding the dry-erase board & markers in the conference room. The markers are too dried out,a nd the white boards should be gone over with whiteboard cleaning solvent.

    Professional, convenient space

    I met with a client in the small conference room at the SOMA location. The receptionist was kind to show my client upstairs. There was plenty of street parking. The space was tidy and reasonably priced. I will be using it again. Only downside is that the room faced 10th street, which can be really noisy.

    Great Meeting Space

    We had a team planning meeting and rented a medium conference room for the 7 of us, and it worked out great. The South Park location is conveniently located, clean, quiet, and the staff was really accommodating. The only downside was a lack of power outlets for all of our laptops. Simple solution for Sandbox: put a power strip in each conference room that can be plugged into a wall outlet and left under the conference table.

    great space!

    We rented the large conference room at the Bryant Street SOMA location and had a great experience. Super friendly service at the desk, plenty of space and materials in the room, easy access to the kitchen & restrooms and an overall fun and creative feel. All in all a great space to use as an offsite! thanks sandbox suites!

    Quality fluctuates

    P: Good staff, space is pleasant to be in when not overcrowded. Expanding. C: Temperature evenness problems, perk equipment like monitors limited, some abuse by members (noisy kids, etc). Lots of scheduling problems with meeting rooms. Temperature is not even through the facility, if you are uncomfortable, someone else is uncomfortable. Some smoke/exhaust in atrium if door is open to help with temp problems. I often heard people complain about phones being broken for months on end.

    Great space, friendly people

    I rented the small conference room in Berkeley for an off-site meeting where it was critical for my team to have highly productive collaboration with minimal distractions. SBS's facility gave us all the connectivity we needed with ample white boards, connectivity, and work surface to capture our ideas and complete our project in the allotted time, and the on-site community manager was both friendly and helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely be returning.

    Great place for meetings

    As a Berkeley attorney in sole practice, the space I need for clients is meeting space: in Berkeley and in San Francisco. SBS provides this in a dependable manner at a great price.

    Sandobx Suites Conference Room

    Room was clean, projector worked, space was comfortable. Spent a 1/2 day with the team doing goal setting activities. Would use the space again.

    Favorite work setting of my adulthood!

    Works for me: folk who work around me but they are not working "in" my business so I get a lot done without interruptions. Kinda like adult study-hall but with much better lunch breaks now and again.

    Union SQ; Sml Conference room rental

    I liked the size of the small conference room for 2. Too small for 4. Liked the easy internet connection and print access. I did not like that clients coming for a meeting wait in the lounge (where everyone else was working!) Can that space be made more discreet?

    Conference room rental

    We were pleasantly surprised at the ease of booking and access. We needed a room for a day and the online process made it simple. Location near South Park made lunch and a bunch of local meetings super easy. Perfect for needing a day long base of operations in the city and looked like a great co-working space in general.

    Great Experience

    The staff was very helpful. We arrived at the South Park location but had booked our conference room at the SOMA location. They worked everything out with absolutely no fuss and it was much appreciated.

    Excellent private meeting space. They had everything they advertised and even upgraded our room when our original was still in use. Will use again for sure.

    A Really Great Meeting Space

    Held an all-day meeting at the Union Square facility recently. The environment and staff were really nice. Would definitely consider/recommend for similar events in the future. Great job!

    Great idea!

    Finally somebody has created a cost effective solution for temporary meeting rooms! The variable space available should suit all needs and the amenities provided make it even more convenient - wifi / whiteboard / conference phones / etc. Idea environment for those out of town meetings that crop up. Definitely recommended to all!

    Convenient and professional

    Sandbox is the best - the atmosphere is professional and my clients are always impressed when they meet me in one of the conference rooms. The ambiance is relaxed without being too random. As for the co-working space I like that it's quiet enough to be able to concentrate, but populated enough so that I feel like a human. Highly recommended.

    Great Place for a Meeting

    I booked for a mediation involving 5 people, based solely on the reviews on Genbook, and was very happy with what we got. A nice room, pleasant waiting area, helpful staff, internet access -- everything we needed.

    Everything worked!

    I came here for a business meeting. All the technology worked, there were no noise problems and all possible facilities were provided. Good stuff! I would definitely use this space again.

    Good conference rooms

    I like holding meetings at Sandbox. They have multiple locations in the city and have different sized conference rooms. The facilities are always clean and the staff is helpful. I've tried a couple of other co-working spaces and think Sandbox offers the best value.

    Great space with friendly staff

    Great Experience!

    Cost was great, people were friendly and made scheduling easy. The room worked perfectly for our 3 hour meeting for 6 people. I would definitely use Sandbox Suites again!

    room worked nicely for me. staff was very pleasant

    sandbox suites has been the most reasonably priced pleasant space i've been able to find to hold a private meeting. the staff is very accommodating and helpful. only thing is it would help if they could open from 6 to 7 in the evening for the same price as 8 to 6 meetings for coaches like me who are building a practice.

    Awesome Spot for Team Offsite

    We booked a medium conference room for our team offsite (6 people). Our goal was to find someplace convenient where we could spend 8 hours getting some serious work done. Sandbox South Park location and atmosphere were terrific. Reception and amenities also top notch. It's not quite as posh as a hotel meeting room but also 1/3 the price and feels much more 'creative'. As other reviewers have mentioned, the room can get a bit stuffy if you keep the door closed, so we left it open. No problem.

    Decent space for an off-site day

    I rented a Medium-sized conference room for a full-day off-site with my team. The room was fine for 5 people for the day, and 7 people for a couple of hours. Glad they had filtered water and coffee for us to stay hydrated/caffeinated. No complaints about the wifi, the whiteboard, the projector, etc. One complaint was the room got pretty stuffy with the door closed, and quite warm. No ability to adjust the thermostat.

    Great co-working space

    Great place to hold meetings. They accommodated a Saturday morning meeting. Space is nice and very well located (downtown Berkeley). I had also used the union square location in the past.

    Comfortable meeting space

    It's alright -- could use a little makeover, but still very comfortable. There is free water, coffee, and wifi, and the staff is very friendly. Perhaps next time more whiteboard supplies could be available?

    Great space for a last minute meeting

    Scheduled this meeting 4 days before I needed a meeting room for 3 hours. Everything was great, except the room was scheduled for 8am, we showed up at 8am, but building was locked and no one was there. Someone showed up at 8:15am. Other then that- everything was good.

    A Great Place to Teach a Class

    I rented one of the conference rooms to teach a class. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the space was clean and had everything we needed. Next time I am in SF and need to teach a class with about 10 people in it, I will definitely be headed back.

    Nice space, helpful staff

    We rented a conference room here for the first time. Attractive space, Sarah and Kelsey were friendly and helpful. Now we're considering renting an office here. Overall I highly recommend it.

    Awesome experience

    We just needed a place to have a scoping session for a product we're developing, and the medium-sized 5-person room was a perfect fit. The staff was helpful, the whiteboards were clean, the wifi was fast. Perfect.

    Working with other working folk

    I like running my own business but not in a hermitage. Being surrounded by lots of folk who are very attentive to their own work, and sometimes social, has made me much more productive. And it really helps to have someone else worry about many of the office amenties.

    No waiting time!

    The space is very convenience size up to 6 people at $25 per hour! It's affordable price and cannot be beat them with quality!!! I would return to the place for my next meeting.

    Good place for a meeting

    Location is great, 1.5 blocks fm public parking at SutterStockton. Stairs to the 3d floor not good for disabled. Didn't try the coffee, but the 'bottled' water is a water cooler w re-use plastic cups. (Bring your own.) Table was a little dirty, windows hard to prop open for air. BUT would def. use again. Nice decor, quiet and private. Nice staff.

    Highly Productive Space

    Sandbox Suites on Union Square is a professional hip creative focused friendly convenient clean productive space that provides everything from conference rooms to a great cup of coffee. The staff is informed and considerate. Everything about the facility is perfect for working in a remote location - from it's proximity to transportation to it's free lockers. Clean, modern. Our three day summit was a success and we will definitely use Sandbox Suites in the future. It's highly recommended by us.

    Great experience!

    I needed to have an important meeting and Sandbox Suites successfully fulfilled the need. The small office I reserved was perfect. The location is easy to get to. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The coffee made me feel like I was at my own office. I would definitely rent here again.

    Our home away from home

    We have a small organization and we all work from home, but when we need to get together the 'box is a fantastic place to do it. Friendly staff and other clients make for a very comfortable and productive atmosphere. I highly recommend it for meetings and/or quiet work in teams or small groups.

    Good location. Warm environment.

    I took a tour with Sarah Jo, Community Manager. She was very patient and explained all the various options. I decided to use the conference space for a work meeting. I was very happy with service I received. Informal enough to be comfortable, but structured enough to be professional. I would highly recommend Sandbox!

    Great service. Nice amenities.

    We had a great experience during our marathon 10 hour staff meeting when we needed to get out of the office for a day. Only complaint was the large room was advertised for 10 but clearly maxed out at 6-7. Very cramped. Other than that, staff was great. Awesome value for price.

    Great Facility

    We brought in a group of 13 for a one day coworking session. The conference room fit everyone and we had a great time. Fun work spaces, great conference rooms. The furniture in the open area was neat. Really enjoyed our day here. WiFi worked great for everyone.

    Comfortable, private environment

    great offsite office space

    all amenities mentioned on the site were available and we had a good time in the view conference room. staff were very pleasant to interact with and very accommodating.

    good location. friendly people at desk that helped with finding delivery food. room was fine for four people. little street noise when we opened the window for cool air. not enough electrical outlets in room.

    Excellent meeting space

    The facility was ideal for our two hour meeting, and I will definately plan on using this space in the future. The view room was bright and airy, the coffee was plentiful, and the stetup and customer service were great. The room was a little noisy, but this difficulty was overcome by simply closing the window.

    Great Room, Convenient, but loud street noise

    We rented the medium sized conference room for a full-day meeting - great setup and everything worked: location, room size, coffee, projector, desk support, etc. was right on target and as advertised. The only problem was too much street noise in our conference room, even with the windows shut. All in all, an enjoyable experience and we will certainly use Sandbox Suites again.

    Easy to find-great directions-When you need a quiet place to think or a quick small meeting space in SF-Sandbox may be the one for you! Also, the office has a airy bright look and you can walk there from Market Street!

    Clean!

    I thought the space was really clean and all the amenities are really convenient. I'm definitely considering on moving in. The atmosphere was definitely friendly and felt like a place I could be productive in.

    Really nice space

    They have everything you need to call a place an office and it all works. I was able to get my work done without worrying about finding a fax or shredder. And the people there are friendly and helpful.

    Great Tour

    Really well put together space, warm friendly atmosphere. A lot of amenities for tenants, and seems to be a good value, if I move to sf, Sandbox will be at the top of my list
